"Can the two of you stop playing find my tonsils and tell me where the hell it is I'm supposed to be driving to?" Dean grouses from the driver's seat while Sam leans over a road map squinting to look at the small print.
"Ready For Love" is playing over the speakers, barely audible over the thud of fat raindrops pummeling the windshield, blocking out the world around you, and sending the shadows racing across your skin where Ben and you are sitting in the backseat.
“Well, if you’d given me a few hours to fuck her at the motel instead of throwing a bitch fit-" Ben begins to say, turning his gaze your face to stare at the back of Dean's head with a lazy smile.
“Dean why do you care?" You interrupt Ben with red cheeks. "I know for a fact worse things have happened in the backseat of your car than Ben and me making out."
"Really? Because I can’t think of anything worse that you and him sucking on each other's tongues and helping the spread of mono." Dean's hands tighten on the steering wheel and his shoulders tense.
He’s more wound up than a tinker toy.
It has been exactly thirty three minutes since Dean's mental breakdown back at the motel when Ben showed up. Furthermore, despite how much Dean had screamed at you at the motel, it appeared that he was still going to act like a two year old who wanted a cookie before dinner.
Sam's suggestion for the four of you to figure out why Ben was here had been a welcome distraction from Dean's spiral. It had prompted all of you to pile into Baby to try and find where it was that Ben landed in your universe and find a clue as to why.
But so far the trip had been less like riding in the Mystery Machine and more like riding with the Griswold's on their road trip to Wally World…
Dean had been supportive of trying to find a solution to what he deemed the "Ben problem," but it appeared that Dean was going to spend every waking minute getting on your nerves.
Honestly, what's new?
You didn’t understand why Dean was so damn argumentative whenever you showed up, it was like he lived to make your life as difficult as possible.
It had always been that way. Since the first day you met Sam and him at Ellen's bar forever ago, Dean had never once said something nice about you or to you.
He always found some little thing to nit pick, whether it be your aim, your research skills, or your technique when hunting and you were sick of it. Each time the two of you worked together, it was Sam's job to make sure it didn't end in bloodshed. Even Cas noticed Dean's underlying hostility towards you and when he asked Dean what was wrong, Dean had brushed him off with a "not now Cas."
Worse was the time that you got hurt (only a minor injury) on a hunt a few weeks ago when you got thrown into a glass cabinet while facing down a poltergeist. Dean had chewed you out for a good twenty minutes and even with Sam's ability to intervene, you'd broken Dean's nose for speaking to you like that, and then rushed off to your room in the bunker before he had a chance to see you cry.
It was the one thing that you never allowed yourself to do in front of Dean Winchester, cry. He didn't deserve your tears, especially not when he was being a total grade A asshole.
When Sam came in later to help you get patched up, you asked him why Dean hated you and Sam tried to convince you otherwise, but you knew the truth.
Dean Winchester hated you, and you had no idea why. So you decided to stop trying to make him like you, because if he was going to act like a total dick he didn't deserve you being nice to him.
You knew that was why you liked Ben more. Ben appreciated you (sort of), he wasn't mean, he listened to you (sometimes), and he did give you compliments… well, they all revolved around the way you looked and that was nice, but just you wanted someone to give you a compliment that had to do with something else. Or maybe just a simple "I see you."
Is that so hard to ask?
Your few flings in the past hadn't been anything special. You didn't have the kind of stable lifestyle that prompted or supported long serious relationships, especially with non-hunters. Not to mention you'd always had this fantasy about meeting another hunter who understood exactly what you went through and what you had gone through over the years. It was often difficult to find a non-hunter who could understand that.
The bunker was the first permanent address that you'd ever had. Your mother had been one of the best hunters in the US, known by all, and you never met your dad, which meant that growing up on the road was the only life you knew. She'd died a year before you started working with the Winchesters which meant that you didn't exactly have anyone that you cared about or anyone who cared about you.
The thought often brought the feeling of loneliness stirring in your chest, but you pushed it down, throwing everything you had into hunting.
Healthy right?
Ben's muscular arm is wrapped around your waist, his hand splayed over your lower back to keep you tight against his chest so there is no space between the two of you, while your hands locked at the back of his neck. You didn't usually like PDA that much, occasionally yes, but you'll admit that you were only allowing yourself to give in to Ben a little more, because you liked how much it annoyed Dean.
Yes, you thought that it was absolutely ridiculous how Dean was acting, but you wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine. Because in all the years you'd known him, you’d never found one thing to hold over his head or one thing that really irritated him, and Ben was working like a charm.
It also felt really good to kiss him, but that was beside the point.
You understood that Dean was having a psychotic break with his constant proclamations that Ben "was him," but you wanted to at least understand why Dean was still hung up on it.
Ben isn't Dean. Sure they have the same face, but Ben is different… isn't he?
When you'd encountered Ben for the first time you had done a double take, but the more you were around him, the more you appreciated the way he treated you differently from Dean. Yes he was a little sexist, but Ben made you feel wanted and Dean had a way of making you feel stupid and often like a burden, as if you'd been plopped on his doorstep like a box of kittens and he was stuck with you.
There was only so much that you could take.
You didn't know what you'd done to earn such hostility. Dean was far from sexist, and you'd seen him interact with other people, it was just you he treated differently and it made you want to strangle him.
"Calm down kid-" Ben sighs.
"Stop calling me that!" Dean turns around to glare at the man next to you.
"Keep your eyes on the road." Sam says, not looking up from the map. He didn't need to.
"What a wonderful suggestion Sammy, but see I can't because I have no idea where the hell it is I'm going!" Dean snipes at his brother.
I swear at this point if Gabriel pops out of nowhere and tells me that this is all just a fucked up dream, I'd believe it.
"Stop being damn hormonal kid, and keep driving." Ben rolls his eyes and moves his lips to your throat, nipping and biting along the flesh visible over the top of your jacket, making you gasp softly and lean into Ben's warm embrace.
Your eyes meet Dean's in the rear view mirror and just for a second you see something flash through them that isn't anger, but it's gone just as soon as you clock it.
What was that?
Dean slams on the brakes and Ben tightens his grip on your body so you don't go flying forward into the bucket seat.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" You snap, curiosity gone, as you glare at Dean.
The tension in the car is high, popping and crackling around the four of you like popcorn. You still couldn't understand why Dean had such a problem with Ben. If anything you'd think that they'd get along a little bit.
"I am not being hormonal or whatever other chauvinistic shit that is about to come out of your mouth." Dean snarls, ignoring you, as he turns and narrows his eyes at Ben. "And I am not your chauffeur. So tell me where the hell it is I'm going so you can get the fuck out of my car and out of my life!"
Ben opens his mouth to retort something, no doubt that'll trigger Dean, but you speak before he can.
"Ben, do you remember anything about where you came through?" You ask him. You were trying to be more diplomatic even though Dean was making your blood boil.
Just because Dean is mad at me does not mean that he gets to take it out on Ben. Ben hasn't done anything wrong. He got sucked into this reality and immediately got pulled into Dean's soap opera.
Ben huffs out a sigh as he turns back to look at you. His gaze softens a little as his eyes meet yours, turning from a dark green to a jade. "There was a building-"
"Oh wow, how helpful!" Dean snarks. "Did you hear that Sammy? There was a building! Mystery solved!"
Ben whips his head in Dean's direction, the air in the car growing hot as Ben's skin begins to heat, but you gently lay your hand on his cheek to bring his gaze back on you. "Dean is an asshole. We all know." You say to Ben, reassuring him and ignoring the look Dean gives you when you say it. "Do you remember anything about the building?"
Getting Ben angry wasn't the way to get information out of him, he was, after all, more like Dean than you were willing to admit. And just as you'd seen Dean get worked over by numerous women, including Bella, sweet talking worked the best.
Well, it never worked when you tried to do it, because Dean refused to treat you any way other than an annoyance.
But two could play that game, especially with the way that Dean was acting right now.
Ben's jaw tightens and you know that he's biting back some remark to throw Dean's way, but you pull him closer, trailing your hand over his bearded cheek to keep his attention and gently bring your lips to his. You feel the tension shift from Ben's shoulders beneath the palms of your hands as he relaxes into the kiss, and this time Ben smiles when you pull away, giving your hips an encouraging squeeze. "It was a school or some shit. And there was a billboard for "World's Biggest Beer Can.""
"Okay. We can work with that." Sam says giving you a sympathetic look before pulling out his phone to type something in.
At least Sam is being normal about this whole thing.
Sam and you always got along, from the start he was the older brother that you never had, and it was refreshing. Not to mention Sam was your best and probably only friend. The hunter life was lonely and you found it difficult to make friends anyway, but something about Sam always stuck. He got your abnormal sense of humor, he gave the best hugs, and he stood up for you when things got heated between Dean and you. It was his idea for you to move into the bunker with him and Dean, and also him that convinced Dean to let you move in.
It had taken days for Dean to finally say yes. And when he did, he made you move into the bedroom next to his as if he wanted to keep an eye on you because he didn't trust you.
And as much as you hated living with Dean, living with Sam made up for it. You liked helping him research while Dean bitched and moaned about reading through dusty volumes, liked helping him clean up while Dean followed behind you as if you couldn't be trusted, liked helping Sam try to make dinner that ended up more burned than anything else until Dean stepped in and shooed the both of you from the kitchen so he could make something, and liked kicking back on the couch watching movies with Sam while eating copious amounts of popcorn.
Unfortunately, Dean didn't get the hint that you wanted him to leave you alone so he'd follow Sam and you, crack open a beer, and proceed to give a personal commentary on the movie the two of you were watching, occasionally throwing a look in your direction as if he was checking that you were listening to him. Weirder still was the fact that Dean would do that when Sam wasn't with you.
You noticed that sometimes, that no matter where you were in the bunker, Dean just happened to find himself in the same room. But that didn't mean he would speak, sometimes he would just be cleaning one of his guns or quietly reading through a dusty volume or writing something down in a notebook, but you swore sometimes you thought that Dean was looking at you. Each time you looked up though, he was looking down at whatever else it was he was doing.
It was those moments that made you think that things could be civil between the two of you, and then he'd get on your case for doing something he deemed "wrong" when you knew you did it right the first time as if you hadn't been a hunter as long as he had.
He probably does that because he doesn't trust me.
Dean grumbles something under his breath and turns his gaze back out the windshield, watching the wiper blades go back and forth over the glass, crossing his arms over his chest. Ben frowns and you know that he must have been able to hear whatever it was Dean said.
Why can't we all just get along for five minutes? Is that too much to ask?
"Alright I've got something." Sam says ending the uncomfortable silence in the car. "The World's Biggest Beer Can is in Northwood about ten miles ahead of us."
"Finally. At least someone is pulling their weight." Dean states before he hits the gas, the force throws you backwards into the seat.
Your gaze flicks up to the rearview mirror and notice that Dean is watching you again, but you turn away to Ben who smiles wide and pulls you back towards him for a kiss.
But deep down you can't help but wonder if Dean had been watching the two of you in his rearview mirror the whole time and why he cared so much.
The building that Ben remembers is in fact, an abandoned school.
The roof sags inward allowing rainwater to pool in the front lobby over black and white checkered tiles, the lockers are rusted and thrown to the floor at odd angles making you worry about the possibility of tetanus, and there is an ungodly stench that you can only describe as old gym socks, axe body spray, and unwashed feet.
Ben's nose wrinkles where he stands beside you, and you're sure that no matter what your sense of smell is experiencing it's a million times worse for him.
You press your lips into a tight line, toeing around a puddle of something gray and sticky that you can't identify, but know for a fact you don't want it in your shoes. Your eyes squint into the looming darkness that grows the more you stare down the forgotten hallways.
It’s always gotta be an old creepy building. Just once I want to get to investigate a donut shop or a burger joint or a Starbucks.
"Any of this looking familiar Captain Sexual Harassment?" Dean asks turning with his flashlight to point in Ben's face.
Ben shrugs and squints at the offending light. "I don’t fucking know."
"Enlightening." Dean huffs out a breath. "Well, guess we can split up and-"
Thank God I won't have to listen to Dean mutter things under his breath and freak out.
"Fine." You interrupt. "Come on Ben." You start to walk down one of the dark hallways, but Dean slides in front of you to block your path.
"No way. You're not going with him." Dean waves his flashlight in Ben's face again and you can see the twitch on the corner of Dean's mouth to see how much he enjoys blinding him.
Why does he always have to act like such a child?
"Why?" You demand.
"Because as soon as Sam and I get out the picture, Grandpa over there is going to pull you aside and fuck you in one of the classrooms." Dean says it without blinking, but it makes you flush red in embarrassment and anger.
"No, he's not!"
"Yes, he is!"
Dean is so close that you can feel his warm breath on your face. His eyes are narrowed in anger, but you can see another emotion flick through them so quickly you think you imagined it. It was the same emotion that you thought you saw in the car, but you can't identify it, not yet.
Ben's hand comes down on Dean's shoulder, a wide smirk on his face. "Look kid, I get it. She's fucking hot and I know you think I'm trying to horn in on your action-"
"What the hell are you talking about?" Dean exclaims shaking off Ben's hand.
"You're jealous because she decided to be with a real man instead of you." Ben shrugs. His gaze travels up and down Dean as if appraising him before he shakes his head with a chuckle. "I can't blame her. Someone like you couldn't handle her.
"I could handle her just fine!" Dean snaps back his face flushing as he forces his chest against Ben's, who only smirks back.
What did he just say?
Your entire body goes stick straight in surprise and you turn your head to stare at Dean. In all the years that you'd known Dean he's never once said something like that to you.
Sure there was the night you met…
You hadn't thought about it in years. You'd been back in town because Bobby had called asking you to help out some friends of his on a case and you'd stopped in to Ellen's bar to see Jo. Dean had come on to you and you'd splashed a beer in his face and also maybe pinned him down against the bar. It had been awkward the next day when you found out that Dean and Sam were the friends that Bobby wanted you to help out, but you pushed past all the weird feelings to help.
Dean had flirted with you that night and you will admit to yourself that you thought Dean was attractive before he opened his mouth, but since that night the two of you hadn't spoken about it. In fact, you were both perfectly happy pretending that it didn't happen.
Or so you thought.
Dean's dark green eyes flick to yours in realization. "That's not what I meant."
"Sure kid." Ben's smirk grows to Cheshire Cat proportions.
"Stop calling me that!"
The weird thing was, you'd seen Dean lose his temper, it always flared fast and hot broken up with sarcastic comments, but for some reason this felt different and you didn't understand why. It didn't feel like Dean just getting angry because Ben was getting under his skin, it felt like something else.
"Whoa!" You get between the two of them for the second time in an hour. "If you guys keep fighting like this I'm going to put you both in time out!"
"He started it!" Dean glares at Ben, who doesn't look the least bit upset.
"I don’t care who started it! You're grown men and you're still acting like toddlers. I shouldn't have to separate you." You snap waving around your flashlight at Dean.
"How about this?" Sam sighs from where he stands a few feet away. "I'll go with Ben and the two of you can try not to shoot each other."
"Why can't I go with you?" You sigh to your friend.
"You want to leave them together? Alone?" Sam raises his eyebrow.
Not really.
Sam takes your silence rightfully as confirmation, because the both of you knew if you left Dean and Ben together it would probably be a Thunderdome situation or a reenactment of the WWE.
"Maybe we shouldn't split up." Dean says looking at his brother.
"You scared kid?" Ben smirks. " No wonder she decided to fuck me instead of you. You’re acting like a little bitch."
"You son of a bitch-" Dean finally snaps and launches himself towards Ben, but your hand fists in the back of Dean's leather jacket to stop him from starting a fight that you know he won't win.
It wasn't that you thought Ben was a better fighter than Dean, it was that Ben had super strength and would have no qualms ripping Dean in half. And despite how much Dean annoyed you, you didn't want him to die. Sure he was a jerk, but he didn't deserve that after everything he'd been through, and Sam didn't need to bear witness to that.
"Fine." You say. "Ben please go with Sam."
Ben rolls his eyes and follows after Sam, leaving Dean and you standing in the lobby alone, the only sound the soft plop of water echoing down the empty hallway.
Great. Now I'm stuck with Dean in a creepy old building. It's a dream come true. The stuff of Disney movies.
"Why did you do that?" Dean snaps at you when Ben and Sam turn a corner out of sight.
"You should be thanking me! Ben would rip you in half without batting an eye!" You turn back towards the empty hallway and try to put as much distance as you can between Dean and you.
Distance is good, nice. It means that I can only partly hear his disapproval.
"You don't know that." Dean catches up with you, sweeping the path in front of you with his flashlight looking for holes in the floor.
"Yes, I do. I've seen him do it before."
By now you were aware that there was a chill in the air, it was unnatural, creeping down the hallway in a thin mist that made a shiver crawl down your spine. Dean must sense it too, because he pulls his gun at the same time you do.
That or he's doing it because he's about to go Rambo on Ben's ass.
Because that'll end well…
"If he rips people in half why do you like him so much?"
“He’s not a bad person if that’s what you’re getting at. Ben did it to save me.” You point your flashlight into one of the classrooms along the hallway noting the rotted desks tipped over onto the checkered floor. “He wouldn’t hurt me.”
Ben's world was filled with more than a few crazed individuals, and when you'd been in his universe Ben had stepped in when a supe threw themselves at you. Truthfully, even though Ben did what he did to protect you, watching him pull someone apart with his bare hands made you sick to your stomach. Given what you'd seen, that was saying something. But you knew that Ben wouldn't hurt you, he wasn't that kind of man, and you weren't afraid of him.
“You’ve known him for five days! How can you tell after five days?!” Dean nudges a cardboard box with his boot sending a family of cockroaches scuttling into the shadows.
"Because I can!" Your lip curves up in distaste at the appearance of the roaches and try not to imagine all the walls infested with the little bugs.
You didn't like roaches. Especially ones that all of a sudden developed the ability to fly in your presence as if it were a miracle.
The two of you continue to walk down the hallway, the sound of your footsteps masking the constant dripping noise that comes from the floor above.
Your temper was flaring all over again. You didn't think that you needed to explain any of this to him. Dean never felt the need to discuss his extensive history with women with you and you didn't feel the need to discuss the ins and outs of your and Ben's situation.
"Come on-" He begins to say, but you don't want to hear it.
"Dammit Dean just fucking drop it." You throw your shoulder against a door at the end of the hallway, putting everything you have into it and a little more. You were getting frustrated at Dean's continuous commentary on your life. "I don’t want to talk about this anymore or listen to any of the ridiculous reasons why you think that it's any of your business who I sleep with."
“I think it is my business because you were about to reenact the scene from Titanic in the back of my car!”
“Oh please. I’m sure that you’ve reenacted it billions of times back there. Mr. Saturday Night!” You roll your eyes hitting the door again with your shoulder.
“It’s my car!" Dean shouts, moving you out of the way in a surprisingly gentle way, before he savagely kicks down the door. "I can do whatever I damn well please!”
I wonder if Sam and Ben are having a better time than us. It wouldn't be difficult to.
The door opens with a snap under the force of Dean's kick depositing Dean and you into a large auditorium. The seats are a faded gray and the curtains that hang from the sides of the stage, once blood red, were more of a muddled pink stained with splotches of dark spots and filled with holes the size of the Impala.
Crawling vines and ferns have begun to tangle over the empty seats and over the floors, absorbing anything in their path. The wooden stage is dilapidated and caving in on itself, the boards jutting upwards instead of laying flat as they should in some places from years of water damage. The carpet beneath your feet is squishy and moth eaten, and each step sends another cloud of dust into the air making the room hazy and you cough into your elbow.
"Not to mention he's me!" Dean continues, tramping into the room behind you.
"How many times are you going to say that?" You pinch the bridge of your nose, trying your best to keep it together.
"As many times as I have to, to get the point into your thick skull!"
You whirl around and poke your finger into his chest. "You know what Winchester? You can take all your opinions and shove them right up your uptight ass!"
"The two of you don't get along at all. Odd given how you seem to get along with my fiancé." A bored voice says from somewhere behind you. "But it is a lot more entertaining than I thought it was going to be."
Dean and you both lock eyes and turn to look in the direction of the voice, but there's no one there.
"Um, did you hear-" Dean begins to ask.
"Yes I did." You reply clicking the safety off your pistol.
"Just checking."
"Though I will say, with the way today is going for you and if this is you having a psychotic break, I wouldn't be surprised that you're having auditory hallucinations."
"Shut up." Dean sighs.
"Hello?" You shout, looking around the empty auditorium for some answer, but it remains empty.
Dean snorts. "Now who's craz-"
"Hello?" The voice mocks in a nasally voice. "Wow you're pathetic. I don't understand what he sees in you."
"You call me pathetic, but you're the one hiding. So why don't you come out?" A chair from the front row plucks itself off the ground and hurls itself at your head. You duck and it sails into the aisle behind Dean and you.
"You're not even that pretty." The voice continues and you can imagine a pout on the end of its words like a petulant child who wishes to get their way.
This is so fucking weird.
"Thanks." You reply dryly. "I like to think I've got a great personality."
"You don't." Dean mutters, making you throw an elbow into his side.
A high pitched giggle echoes through the space making it impossible to identify where it came from, until finally a woman materializes on the stage. You blink your eyes to make sure that she's really there.
Her blonde hair falls over her shoulders in perfect ringlets, and she's wearing a bright pink fur trimmed dressing gown. The kind you'd see on an eccentric billionaire's trophy wife who spent most of her day drinking gin martinis poolside while being fanned by cabana boys or the kind that she'd be wearing when she heard of her husband's "untimely demise." There's a silver diamond crown perched on top of her head and she's smoking a cigarette from a long white cigarette holder, while she lounges back on a golden throne.
What. The. Fuck.
"Do you see her too?" You whisper to Dean out of the corner of your mouth.
"You mean Glinda the Good Witch the later years? Yeah I can." Dean replies looking just as confused as you do. "You thinking Gabriel?"
"I thought he was dead."
"He's pretended to be dead before." He shrugs.
"Fair enough. Any reason why he's making us see her?"
"Maybe your new boyfriend has a fetish."
"Hasn't anyone told you that it's rude to whisper?" The woman says, taking a drag from her cigarette.
"Sorry. Um. Who are you?" You ask.
"I don't speak to homewreckers." Her face contorts into a sneer. You watch her eyes shift from Dean to you. "But I'll answer for your friend. I'm Iris, Benjamin's Fiancé."
If pigs could fly right now an entire fleet of them would be taking flight around you. You tried to wrack your brain remembering a single time that Ben said that he had a fiancé or was in a relationship at all, and you can't find a single moment.
Well… today officially sucks.
"Wow. Nice." Dean looks at you with a scoff. "Real nice."
"Hey woah, I didn't know he had a fiancé." You hold up your free hand in surrender. "He never said anything about a-"
"Hey gorgeous. Did you find anything?" Ben says materializing behind Dean.
"You're engaged?" You shout.
"No?" Ben looks confused. "Who told you that?"
You point a thumb over your shoulder to Iris, who is still lounging on the stage completely in her element. She giggles and wiggles her fingers in a cute wave.
"Hey Benny Wenny, did you miss me?" Her lips curl up in a wide smile when she rises from the throne, her bright blue eyes crinkling around the edges. The air around her seems to sparkle, sending scattered light out into the broken seats.
Ben is still staring up at the woman, looking utterly confused.
"You know that freak?" Dean whispers to Ben who is now standing shoulder to shoulder with him.
"Fuck no."
"Well, congratulations Benny Wenny." Dean snorts. "Guess you're getting married."
"I am not-"
"And don't worry, of course I'll be your best man." Dean continues, holding back laughter.
"Shut the fuck up kid!" Ben snaps at Dean, before turning back to the woman on the stage. "Look baby, I don't know who you are but-" Ben begins to say to the woman, who only laughs.
She throws back her head, golden curls bouncing with the force of her body moving, laughing for an unnatural amount of time before she locks her blue eyes on Ben again.
“Stop being silly. We met a few months ago at Legend’s party. We had a few drinks and then you came back to my apartment where we made love for hours-“ Her cheeks blush. “It was sooooo romantic. What I always dreamed about!”
“Um-“
“My parents are so excited to meet you and my little sister said that she’s so happy to have a big brother!” She giggles. “I even made us matching t-shirts to wear on our honeymoon and a scrap book of our children!" She holds up a magenta colored bedazzled photo album that’s the size of a medium sized dog.
Wow she put a lot of work into that.
“Children?” Ben stutters, his voice cracking on the end a little bit. It's the first time that you've ever seen him look afraid.
“What they’ll look like, where we’ll vacation each year, where we'll live, where you'll work-” Her expression turns sour, eyes flashing a dark pink as she glares in your direction. “But then you met that little whore who took you away from me and poisoned your mind.” She points a perfectly manicured pink nail at you. “So I decided to bring you here so you could help me kill her.”
“I’m sorry rewind-“ You say holding up a hand. “You brought Ben here? How?"
"I found a website while I was looking at destination weddings." She shrugs.
"There are websites about traveling through different universes that show up in the search engine-" Dean begins to say.
"DON'T QUESTION ME!" The girl shrieks and the entire room begins to shake.
"And you wanted Ben to be here because?" You haven’t lowered your gun. Frankly you had no idea what her powers were. She looked more like she would start tap dancing down the yellow brick road rather than start hurling chunks of the stage at you, but you needed a plan.
“Because we’ll get to share this moment together.” Iris sighs looking over at Ben again, who is just as shell-shocked as he was a moment ago.
“Killing me?”
Iris nods enthusiastically. “We'll make love on top of your dead body and no one will come between us ever again!”
Dean snorts under his breath and you elbow him again, trying not to think of the image.
Please let this be Gabriel messing around with me. Because if it's not my life is officially a joke.
The three of you stand there for a minute looking up at where she prances on the stage in mixed stages of disbelief.
And just as Iris takes a step forward, a sandbag falls on her head. She crumples to the floor like a sack of potatoes as Sam appears in the wings of the stage looking from her to where the three of you are watching.
"You guys okay?" He calls.
"Yeah." Ben shrugs. "Too bad about her though. She was hot."
He's kidding right?
"The crazies always are." Dean adds with a sigh, patting him on the back.
"I'm so happy the two of you are having this bonding moment, truly I am, but-" You begin to say, turning your back to the stage, but as soon as you do Sam goes flying across the room and into one of the fern plants.
"That was so uncool!" Iris squeals, hovering over the stage, her hands glowing an unnatural magenta color. "Ben and I are meant to be together, we're soulmates, perfect, fated, destined, and no one is going to stand in my way."
The entire room begins to tremble with the force of her anger, dust floats down from the ceiling as it begins to crack and crumble under her powers. You can feel the warmth of Ben's skin as he begins to power up the beam in his chest, burning through the air like a supernova.
There's a crackling sound that comes from above and you look up to see a giant piece of the ceiling falling in slow motion towards your body. Dean shouts your name, but he sounds far away, the sound ringing through the few seconds that you still have left before it crushes you.
But the hit doesn't come from above, it comes from the side.
Dean tackles you, just as the piano sized piece hits the ground where you had been standing a second ago, to the ground, cradling your head in his hands. Your bodies tumble into the moth eaten carpets as Ben explodes, the heat and power of the beam causing more of the room to fall around the two of you.
There's a terrible high pitched wail that's cut off abruptly mid scream and you don't need to be a genius to know what or rather who it was.
Dean covers your body with his and your hands come up under his arms to hold him tighter to you. You bury your face into the warmth of his coat where his throat and his shoulder meet with a whimper as everything around the two of you shudders and shakes. He doesn't pull away, his muscles tensing as he tightens his grip around you, his own face buried in your hair.
The room continues to shake and fall apart in the aftermath of the blast, dust and ash rising in clouds. But you can’t see any of it, Dean's body is shielding you from the room as it crumbles around the two of you, tucking you further beneath him the longer it goes on, making it impossible for anyone or anything to hurt you.
You could feel something curling in the pit of your stomach the longer you laid there under him, an odd feeling that you'd tried to push down whenever you were around Dean, a warmth that begins to spread like wildfire through your body everywhere the two of you are touching. His body is warm and heavy, but it's not oppressive, it lays over you protective and unyielding in the wake of the destruction.
The smell of him invades your senses, a mix of gunmetal, leather, and a spicy scent that tickled your nose. You'd smelled Dean's shampoo before, when it wafted out of the bathroom as you walked down the hallway, imprinting itself in your mind. It was how the impala smelled, always like Dean, and with it brought a feeling of comfort that you'd never known before.
It was odd.
"Are you okay?" Dean whispers, and you can feel the rumble of his words through his chest where it's touching you, his hips laying in the cradle of your thighs. He pulls back to look at your face, the rough grate of his stubble catching your chin as he does so. His eyes are wide with worry and it's the first time that you'd ever seen him look at you that way.
Dust and ash caught in his hair in graying clumps, sticking to the shortened brownish gold strands, the ones that were just a little shorter than Ben's. You longed to run your fingers through, to feel if it was as soft as it looked.
"I think so." You murmur, not used to the weight of his body on top of yours, but you're also trying not to notice how a part of you liked it. "Are you okay?" Your fingertips trail against the smooth leather of his jacket, working up to the back of his head, feeling just the subtle brush of the hair at the nape of his neck.
You don't miss the soft sigh that rushes out of Dean's chest when you do that, fueling the fire that was spreading in the pit of your stomach.
What is happening?
"Yeah." Dean's fingers brush your hair from your face, so quickly that you think you missed it, but the burn of his skin over your cheeks is the only reminder. You gasp softly with the movement, confused as to why Dean was acting this way, why he was worried about you, and why you liked it. Your arms are still wrapped around his body, fingers curled into the back of his leather jacket, but Dean makes no move to get up, he continues to look at you.
You'd never seen Dean look at you like that, look at you as if he wished to understand you, as if he saw you. No one had ever looked at you that way in your entire life.
"Dean!" You hear Sam yell from somewhere, followed by your own name.
It jolts Dean out of wherever his mind is and he gets off of you, but he helps you to your feet, one of his warm calloused hands taking yours to pull you up before dropping it as if he didn't do it in the first place.
The room is destroyed. The roof has completely caved in allowing the rain to soak through the remaining seats of the auditorium and into the musty carpets. The stage no longer exists, all that remains is a black blob of what you're sure used to be Iris, and although a part of you feels bad about the turn of events, you can't help but feel a little relieved.
She was going to kill me. You think to avoid the wave of guilt that washes over you.
"Ding dong the witch is dead." Dean mutters under his breath, but it doesn't make you feel better.
Fires burn over the edges of the stage, small and controlled, but sending rivulets of smoke into the air. You knew it meant that the fire department would be here any minute and that's the last thing you wanted to explain. That and the body on the stage.
Ben stumbles to his feet a few steps away from Dean and you, pushing off a piece of roofing that must have landed on top of him. His suit is covered in dust and drywall, but he looks okay. He's got that far-away look in his eye he always does after he uses his power.
You step towards him to make sure he's okay, but Dean stands in your way.
"Are you out of your mind?" Dean snarls at Ben.
"What the fuck is your problem?" Ben snaps.
"You almost killed us! Almost killed her!" Dean gestures towards you.
"I fixed the problem." Ben rolls his eyes and glances to you, as if trying to reassure himself that you're okay. You knew that Ben might have wanted to only have a physical relationship with you, but you knew that he did care about you in his own way. "You okay sweetheart?" He pushes past Dean, gently touching your face, tilting it up to his. "Did you hit your head?"
"No. I'm okay." You smile tightly at him, but a part of you can still feel the ghost of Dean's fingertips trailing against your cheeks to push away your hair and feel the weight of his body over yours. "Are you okay?" You ask, noting the way his eyes still are a little unfocused.
"Course I am." Ben scoffs. "Takes a little more than a building to bring me down doll."
You nod, while Ben's hand still continues to rest on your chin, and just as he leans down for a kiss, you see Dean's face in the corner of your eye and finally you're able to identify the emotion reflected in his gaze. It's the same emotion that you saw in the car when he stared at you in the rearview mirror. It's the first time that you've ever seen Dean look at you that way in all the years you'd known him.
It's hurt that flashes behind the green eyes you knew so well, shifting to jealousy on around the darkened edges the longer he looks at Ben and you.
And when Ben's lips touch yours, you feel guilt begin to creep along your skin and extinguish the sparks you'd felt moments ago in the pit of your stomach.
A/N: I'm not going to lie, I did not mean for this part to be a little sad... but oh my word 😭 BUT I also promise that the next chapter will have a happy ending ❤️

✶ ruined (not really) — sam winchester
cw : gn!reader, grumpy!reader, fluff, academic rivals!au, stanford!sam, mentions of school stress and arguments, unedited, 1.4K words. requested ! for my 900 followers event [ closed ] .
prompt : a hidden away bookshop + “i can’t get you out of my head.”
your safe haven has been ruined, just like many other things, by one sam winchester. this bookstore is supposed to be yours, hidden away from all of the stressful, irking things you deal with on campus. ‘stressful, irking things’ is code for rigorous classwork, academic pressure, the stairs up to one of your tuesday thursday classes, and sam winchester.
ever since your second semester at stanford when you discovered this tiny, hole in the wall bookshop that is practically impossible to find, it’s been a refuge of sorts. of course, there are other customers, mostly regulars like yourself, but you tend to visit during the quietest hours by the nature of your class and work schedule.
but today, when you round the corner of the bookshelf in the far corner to settle in your usual seat—which is indeed the only table in the whole store—you’re greeted with a sight that you can only classify as horrific. your relentless, stubborn, awfully intelligent, and maddeningly beautiful academic rival is perched in your spot. his imposing frame isn’t so hulking as he hunches over a book, settled happily in the corner-most chair that you’ve deemed as literally perfect because it’s under a window, gives a view of the rest of the shop, and is gloriously comfortable without making you slump or fall asleep as you read and write.
you only barely hold back an indignant noise of protest from escaping your lips as you stop dead in your tracks. a scowl settles on your features. you have an essay due tonight, and you swear that this seat is the only place you’ll be able to finish it successfully. sure, this isn’t the first time that you’ve come to the shop and found it’s only seat taken. but those were innocent strangers. because it’s sam this time, it’s completely his fault and he’s anything but innocent. by being here, he’s personally and intentionally sabotaging you and your essay.
before you can think of a scathing comment to interrupt his deep concentration, he picks up on the presence of another person and looks up, eyes widening when he registers that it’s you. you take two steps towards him so that you can lean against the back of the second, empty chair on the closer side of the table.
“you’re in my spot,” you say, and it would’ve sounded a bit lame if you hadn’t said it with such confidence, like it was a matter of fact rather than petty annoyance. he sighs and sets his pen down on the notebook in which he’d been jotting down quotes from his book.
“this is a public space. it’s not your spot,” he says, voice even more matter of fact than yours because it really is a fact. you know this, of course, but don’t care. you give a frustrated huff of breath, just as he expected you to.
by now, you know when to leave an argument alone with him. you don’t think of it as him winning, just you having the sense not to say something stupid. and, these days, the two of you have been a bit more amicable with each other. it takes a lot of energy that neither of you have to argue about everything, so you leave it for the important things like class discussions, essays, and exams. “how long are you going to be here?” you ask tersely. just because you don’t argue doesn’t mean that you’re particularly nice to each other. just not mean. he’s a nice guy, and you know it, however annoying that is. you suppose he probably knows that you’re a kind person too.
he shrugs, though, and it makes you annoyed all over again. “not sure. a while, probably. i’m working on the essay for critical theory.” you want to grind your teeth and curse.
you don’t hold back a little, “dammit,” from slipping out under your breath. your frustration builds, and it’s probably more because of your stress over this essay than anything else, but it’s much easier to blame it on him. “can’t you work on it somewhere else?” you know that’s a stupid and unfair thing to ask, but your attachment to the chair he sits in is thick and unmoving.
“no,” he frowns, “i sat here first. you can find somewhere else. there’s hundreds of places to sit on campus.” you hate that he has the sensible upper ground in this whole conversation, and there’s no way in hell that you’re going to explain to him that sometimes, it seems this is the only place in the world that you can concentrate. you don’t move an inch. he rolls his eyes. “there’s two seats, you know.”
“that seat’s better,” you grumble in complaint, but you’re already pulling the chair out and swinging your bag off your shoulder. both of you hide it well, but there could be a battle of who’s more surprised; you, because sam has offered to let you sit with him, or sam, because you’ve actually accepted said offer. both of you are asking yourselves why.
why did he offer? and why did you accept without a moment’s hesitation? sam can answer the first one; because he likes you very much and it bothers him to no end. he can’t get you out of his head, but there’s no way he can tell you that. you can answer the second one; because you like him very much, and it’s quite insufferable. you can’t get him out of your head, but you’ll never admit it.
“too bad,” he grumbles back, looking back down at his book but secretly pleased to have you sitting with him by choice. you’re adorable when you’re grumpy.
part of this place’s merit towards your ability to concentrate is it’s lack of other human beings outside of the worker, who is out of sight due to bookshelves, and therefore, out of mind. but outside of your horrible crush on him, you accepted his invitation because you’ve found that working on assignments around him is around isn’t half bad. yes, you’re self proclaimed rivals, and yes, you’re always trying to be better than the other, but he has an easy presence and fake begrudging willingness to help you if there’s ever anything you don’t understand. you know it’s fake because yours is too. he doesn’t even pretend to be cocky anymore if you ask for his help, so you don’t either.
hours pass, and he splits his snack with you because you’d forgotten yours. he’s a gentleman, unfortunately, because that makes thing confusing.
eventually though, the ease of being with him passes and is replaced by the urge to constantly look at him and think about the way that his eye color has changed since the late afternoon turned to twilight.
after you loose your concentration for what feels like the hundredth time, sam looks up at you with a question in those pretty eyes. he can feel it every time you get restless. he goes through a few iterations of what to say. what’s wrong? will get him a huge scowl. do you want to take a break? you’ll certainly say no to. so he decides on, “let’s go grab some dinner. i’m starving. there’s a lebanese place a block away that’s really good.”
he thought the offer of food would work as an excuse to get you to take a break that you clearly need. he even framed it so that it would seem like he’s the one who needs a break. plus, he wasn’t lying about being hungry. but you look unconvinced and almost pained by his kindness. so his voice turns gentle, because he’s actually quite endeared with you, and hates the idea of you being truly upset or frustrated by anything.
“c’mon,” he murmurs, “a break will help us concentrate better when we get back.”
you look even more bothered now. why is he seemingly taking care of you? “i can’t get you out of my head,” you frown and cross your arms, like it’s a very concerning thing. to you, it is. it can be very unhelpful.
his face morphs into an expression of shock for a moment before he regains composure. the way you say it makes things very hard to interpret; you're critical and calculating, like you’re trying to work your way through a complicated theoretical concept. but the words themselves are an echo of exactly how he feels. you think about him. so much so, that it’s making it hard for you to concentrate.
his spine straightens. “me too,” he says, keeping a soft tone. maybe he can coax you into speaking softly too. and maybe he can hold your hand on the way to and from a late evening dinner.

Inside the estate your once flushed face grew even warmer — this time from the heaters, not Sam’s undeniably sexy voice. Past the elegant entrance and wide, old doors was a large ballroom type area with an intricate ceiling that you had to crane your neck up to look at. The thick banners hanging around the room were a deep blue, showing images of marine animals in a chilling climate, most looking disheartened or sad. In swirling letters on the top of each banner read: “Marine Life Fundraiser: 2025”
“How much you wanna bet they don’t even know half of the animals they’re donating to?” Sam piped up.
“Not a lot. These events are more about having a nice evening in a way too expensive outfit, showing off your very rich, sexy boyfriend/husband or very pretty, young girlfriend/wife, and doing that rich person laugh.”
“I don’t know if we’re being very convincing then.”
“What do you—
Sam snaked his right arm around your waist, the soft velvety fabric of your dress ruffling under his sleek suit. He gripped your firmly but not tightly, his hand gently digging into your soft flesh through your thin dress. He smiled…no, smirked (you weren’t sure) down at you.
“That better, pretty young girlfriend?” Your eyes dilated in seconds and you fought to keep your eyes off of his.
“Y-yea...” You wanted to groan at how small and bashful your voice sounded, you never stuttered.
“Can you guys feel up each other after we finish this?” Dean’s husky voice sounded in both of your ears a bit muffled but it startled both of you, making you feel almost compromised. Sam loosened his grip on you only slightly, letting out a sigh from his throat that went over your neck and left an intense tingling feeling.
“You wanted us to play the part,” You muttered to Dean after you flipped on your ear piece, a gentle hand on Sam’s chest as you made your way to the bar.
“yn, can you put on something over your tight ass dress so Sam can frickin focus?” Your mouth dropped open, scoffing and tilting your head to the side in fake offense.
“Can you stop looking at me and do your job?”
“I am, but it's hard when you two keep eye fucking eachother. Get your drinks, socialize, and distract the remaining family grill ‘em if you can. And please, listen to your ear piece.” Before you can reply, your eyes land on Dean in the crowds of suits and dresses, who is looking at you unamused. You smile, and he rolls his eyes playfully. You knew he wasn’t actually mad, but you also knew you did need to focus. You ordered a drink, Sam looming very close to your back, ordering after you. He slides the bartender his card, taking your drinks and leading you to the back of the room.
“So…you seen them?” You shook your head, knowing he was referring to the family. You scanned the room pointedly, tuning out the music, chatter, and all the bright lights and costly chandeliers in the room, finally spotting the youngest member of the family, Victor Brady, sitting with his mother. His mother had gone ‘missing’ but he never had. Based on your research, you knew the Bradys were rich of course, but you weren't sure the motives of the group of shapeshifters yet. Why were members of the family disappearing then coming back as if nothing happened? Had they really kidnapped some of them? Were the mother and son in front of you really them? How many of them were there?
“Hey, don’t worry,” Sam muttered in your hair, seeming to sense how wired-in to the family your mind was, “Let’s go talk to them. Remember, I am,” he pulled out his wallet from his back pocket, flashing the fake ID Dean had handed him earlier, “Ron Fogerty, son of a wealthy businessman from Canada. And you…” he pointed a finger at your face, then moved it to direct at your purse where your fake ID resided. You pulled it out.
“Elaina…Clifford? Really? You guys are still using the rock names?” Sam gave you a pointed look, as if saying, it wasn't my idea with his face.
“No idea how you both don’t get in trouble more often. Anyway, I’m girlfriend, correct? We’re here to support the Brady’s Fundraiser and get to know their youngest.”
“Bingo. Let’s go before Dean gets on our asses again.”
Strolling arm in arm to the Brady’s table with fake smiles, you and Sam greeted his mother first, then him
In the Impala, you had told the Winchesters about recent photos of them that had been published in the local paper. The family was known for being wealthy but not unkind; and was regarded highly among those in the city. But, in the photos from the week before, the youngest, Brady, was seen holding a number of odd documents leaving the bank, then making his way in the opposite direction of his family estate. Of course, the photos did not show the small printed lines of whatever secrets he was holding…but his angry, crude expressions in the photos did not match those of the graceful man sitting in front of you.
“This is Elaina, my girlfriend. She’s very interested in wildlife and insisted she spoke to those running the fundraiser.” Sam smiled, his voice calm and collected. You nodded, and Mrs. Brady tapped Sam’s shoulder, asking him something you couldn't make out because her son’s voice was louder, closer to your ears.
“My name is Victor. Please, sit. It is nice to meet others with a passion for doing good with what they were blessed with.” You turned to see Sam was speaking civilly with Mrs. Brady, seated across from her, and you decided to sit as well.
“Yes, I…also must say I find this place beautiful. Your family has lived here a while, I hear.”
Victor’s face dropped, his mouth forming a thin line. “We have. But you shouldn't believe everything you hear.”
Your eyebrows shoot up, trying desperately to play the part of a kind, naive woman, when all you really wanted was for him to tell you something, anything that might get you closer to what was going on.
“Of course not, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” He sighs as you trail off, and that's when you notice the dark crescents of purple under his eyes.
“No, it’s my fault. People have been saying some things, lately, about us, about my father particularly. I do not appreciate men who spread false information.”
“And I do not either, I am actually a journalist back home, Victor. I know the importance of telling a factual story.” That made him relax.
“And I am glad to hear it. My parents don’t understand that whatever they’re doing is making me look like a fool as well.” You furrowed your brows. Whatever they’re doing?
“I’m sorry. It's hard to separate from your parents' identity, especially if they're as well known as yours.”
“Exactly. I love them, and I love these events, truly, but just because I’m young doesn't mean I won't understand all the things they keep from me.”
“I know wha–
Your words stop stuck in your throat as you feel cold liquid streamed over your legs, your mouth dropping open as the wine made you get goosebumps. You tilted your head up slowly to see…Dean; empty wine glass in his hand, the alcohol now all over your velvet dress. You look up at him with daggers in your eyes, and he already knew he was going to get it later. But the look he gives you after he apologizes and offers you some napkins suddenly makes you aware of his plan.
“So sorry again, miss, here, I’ll take you to wherever the bathroom is and…” Sam is up now, moving closer to you before you widen your eyes at him, and he tilts his head slightly in confusion before Victor speaks up.
“That won't be necessary, I will show her.” You thank him and quickly mutter a, “I’ll be right back, honey,” to Sam, who nods, finally getting what Dean was thinking. You walk away, you hear a few security guards telling Dean rather loudly that he is cut off from the bar.
You follow Victor, hearing his expensive shoes clacking on the dark wood stairs past a number of guards, ascending until you reach a long, grand hall. He walks to the second door on the right, and you understand that this is his parents bathroom. You can feel your heart beating at a speed you didn't think possible, thanking God that you still had your purse, and the special items inside you needed for a case like this. Victor offered you a few different stain removers, finally offering you a blow dryer for the bottom half of your dress where Dean had probably spilled a hundred dollars worth of wine on you.
“Excuse me, I’m just going to use the restroom.” Victor points to the very far corner where you see a door at the end, which is around the corner from where you stand. Your plan tumbles around your brain, keeping the blow dryer on the loudest setting as you turn on your ear piece.
“Alright, I’ll be here,” You say to Victor with a polite smile. He nods, turning the corner as you smirk, your heels already off, hand reaching into your bag as you go through the connecting door to his parents room. It had been a fucking hassle to get the layout of this stupid estate, but if this was the main building, that meant you were in the bathroom next to the master bedroom. Bingo.
“I’m in the bedroom,” you whisper, nearly out of breath with how fast your heart is beating.
You held your device up to your eye, sending a silent thanks to Bobby for helping you with it. You were booksmart, not handy. You weren’t a great physical hunter and didn’t have a knack for making things; but Bobby did. A couple years ago when you had both worked on a case with Shapeshifters, you’d kept some of the…sheddings, is what you agreed to call it, of two of them when they transformed. The ooze smelled awful and almost glowed once you brought it home. You’d expressed how helpful it would be to detect such ooze, almost like night vision goggles, for hunting shapeshifters. He’d agreed, and after a dozen phone calls and hours searching through his piles of junk and scrap from various cars, created a shedding detecting circle that looked like a single binocular eye.
“The parents? Holy shit, I’m a genius,” Dean’s muffled voice came in your ear.
“You got lucky. And I’m expecting a form of apology when this is over.”
“Oh, don’t worry, I have some ideas. Sure you’d rather get my typa’ apology from Sammy, though.”
“You know I can hear all of this, right?” Sam said, his voice low and quiet in your ear.
“Can you both shut up so I can focus with the two minutes I have up here?”
You quickly spotted a heap of shedding glowing in the far right corner of the room, swiftly going over to see a pile of the ooze, skin, blood, and teeth. You scrunch your face at the smell, but put your left eye through the detector again. It took you a lot longer than you wanted it to, but you found a small trace of it on a cabinet near their bed. Inside, documents with faint traces of the shedding were in your hand in minutes.
“I got something, I’m coming back down,” you mutter, folding the pieces of paper as much as you could, shoving them not so gracefully in your purse when you heard the bathroom door open.
“Sorry! Wrong way out. I think I’ve nearly had as many drinks as the wine spilling guy.” You giggled, smiling at Victor like he was God’s gift to Earth, hoping he’d buy it. And he did. He smiled politely, washing his hands before leading you out of the bathroom commenting on how, “The stain remover worked quickly, it almost looks as good as new.”

Weekly Pond Newsletter
Many parts of the US had some of the coldest weather we've ever seen this past week, with little to warm us but fluffy fanfics. Tell us what fics kept you warm by nominating them for an Angel Fish Award! If you were kept from your favorite fics by adulting, please accept this gif as a consolation.
Old Business:
Fishing for Treasures - It's FFT weekend at the Pond and we're celebrating your underappreciated fics! Check out the blog this weekend for some unusual treasures!
#TweetFicTues - We've put this on hold for a little while until we find a new name that better fits its new home, BlueSky! Maybe it should be #MoveYourMuseMonday? Or perhaps #FeedYourPlotBunniesFriday? #WhipYourWIPsWednesday? Wait, no, that's a different game... 🤣 Do you have an idea for a new name? Let us know!
New Business:
Angel Fish Awards - It's the last week of the month, which means it's the last week to nominate fics for AFAs and earn entries in the monthly raffle. Spread love to your favorite fics and earn chances to win fabulous prizes! Click here for info on how to participate!
Coming Soon - The New Member Spotlight will be posted soon, as well as the monthly prompt for February.
Evaluating Your Place In The Pond - Have you been a member of the Pond for a while? Have you possibly even forgotten whether you are a Guppy or a Jelly Fish? Maybe you’re a Jellyfish who’s considering becoming a Manta Ray?
Not sure what the difference is between categories? Check out this post here that goes into details about each category. TL;DR - Guppies have more questions than answers about writing and Tumblr. Jellyfish feel comfortable answering questions about writing and Tumblr and want to support other writers. Manta Rays are leaders in the community who have a sincere desire to help others and have the time to dedicate to encouraging other writers and helping out with the Pond. More about Manta Rays in this post here.
If you are ready to make a change, simply send an ASK to the Pond inbox, or a private message to an admin, and let us know that you’re ready for a promotion!
(Divider by @glygriffe!)
That’s all for this week! To see all Pond events, and also other SPN-related things like conventions and online concerts, check out our Google calendar! Click here for a static view in Eastern US/Canada time (desktop only, no mobile app access, sadly), and click here to add our calendar to your own Google calendar! We try to keep it as up-to-date as possible. If there’s something you want to see on the calendar that’s not there (maybe a convention we missed, cast birthdays, or something similar), send us an ASK and let us know!
Hope you have a great week! - From your Admins and Manta Rays, @mrswhozeewhatsis, @mariekoukie6661, @thoughtslikeaminefield, @heavenssexiestangel, @spn-fanfic-reblog-writes, and @manawhaat!

Loll Dean has nothing but audacity, doesn't he? The Scooby-Doo boxers have never been more fitting! (literally *snorts*) I loved the "Dog Day Afternoon" episode, so thanks for this extra scene! 🐾
Must Love Dogs
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Reader
Summary: The Colonel needs to take a leak. Rather than risk the stench of dog piss in their already rank motel room, Dean, begrudgingly, obliges. It’s lucky(?) he does.
Word Count: 900 words
Tags: language, terrible pick up lines, humour, bad puns, Dean picks up—————————————————————Read on AO3 || Masterlist
Dean rubbed the sleep further into his eyes.
Where’d that damn dog go?
The least he could’ve done is thank him for letting him out of the room. Just because he took the potion and could communicate with him didn’t mean he needed to be woken up. Sammy was right there. And closest to the door.
The Colonel hadn’t even given him the chance to put on pants, let alone his boots or socks, before he was scratching away their security deposit, and the hunter had no choice but to walk outside into the crisp morning air with bare feet after him.
Luckily, he was wearing boxers.
Luckier still, he always wore them over briefs and this print left less to the imagination than his regular ones did.
Dean shut room one-oh-two off from the world and stepped away from the safety of the pavement and onto the gravel flooring of the car park with a grimace. Those tiny ass pebbles hurt.
He looked around to his right, then to his left, but the Colonel was nowhere in sight.
Fuck.
“Here boy!” He whistled.
“Hey!” he hissed next.
Yes, Dean was rocking the ‘just stumbled outta bed look,’ but that didn’t mean he wanted to draw anymore attention to himself.
It was after five.
The sun was up.
He couldn’t tell you the last time he’d seen a sunrise that hadn’t involved him wrapping up a salt and burn first, and chances were, the louder he was, someone freakier than Sammy was bound to...
“Is he yours?” A friendly voice called out.
Fuck. It had to be a chick.
His head turned in your direction to find you standing on the other side of the lot to him. Leaning, rather, because the Colonel’s doggy mitts pushed against your shoulders.
Where’d you come from? Because it was nothing but bony bushes and an empty street behind them two seconds ago.
“She smells great,” the mutt said, between licks to your smiling cheeks. “You should try sniffin’ her butt.”
Dean’s eyes widened as you giggled, unaware of the perv molesting your face.
While he couldn’t comment on your scent, you sure looked damn fine in the tight yoga pants that stressed your curves underneath them.
Whatever was holding up the ladies was doing a marvellous job, too.
“Alright. Down, boy.” Dean scowled and trotted over to you on the balls of his feet.
Ow. Shit. Fuck. Shit. Shit. Shit. Was it that wrong to punch a dog?
“Yeah, ah, he’s mine.” He grinned as he pulled up beside you with a touch of suave to his attempted swagger.
“No, I’m not,” came the expected retort.
Dean grabbed the Colonel’s scruff and yanked him off of you, thumping into the fur of the dog’s rump with a heavy hand. It was the next best thing to his fist. Better still, when the Colonel whined like a little bitch over it.
“That’s enough, buddy,” Dean said with a boyish chuckle. “Sorry ‘bout that.”
“No, no. It’s fine.” You bent down to rub the mutt’s neck affectionately. “He’s adorable.”
“Oh, yeah?” Was he game to ask you for your number and play the douche from one of them chick flicks?
Hell yeah, he was.
They would be in town for at least another two nights with the way this case was going, so if John Cusack could do it, he could do it too.
“You know who else is adorable?” He clicked his tongue and winked at you, forgetting all about his lack of ensemble just as you noticed it.
“Oh.” The sun picked up the amusement in your eyes as they travelled up his frame and landed in the general area of his junk. “You or Scooby?”
You were neck a neck with that part of him height wise, and he looked down to see Ol’ Scoob staring back at you.
Now, there was nothing wrong with a grown man wearing boxer shorts bearing a cartoon dog. Especially ones of this calibre. They wouldn’t make them in his size if there was a problem, no matter what Sam or anyone else, including you, said, and Dean stood tall with pride.
Think, man, think.
He could work with this, he could. You seemed open to his advances, and he went all out with a lick of his lips and a raise of both brows. “Not me. I’m awesome.” He held his hand out and helped you to your feet again. “But would ya do me for a Scooby Snack?”
That earned him a grin, your hand smoothing his shoulder, and what he swore was an eye roll from the Colonel.
“You’re a bigger douchebag than I thought,” he said, but Dean’s focus remained on you.
“How about the snack first? Meet me at Rocky’s Bar tonight at eight.”
Oh, hell yes.
“Maybe you should wear something besides this so I can solve the mystery myself, though.” And with that, you walked away, leaving Dean stunned. Your hips, swaying from side to side, had to be on purpose.
“I owe you one, buddy,” Dean muttered, patting the Great Dane covering his crotch and not the real life canine next to him.
“What about me?” The Colonel’s bark had you twisting around one last time to wave. “That mutt might’ve saved your ass, but I got you out here in the first place.” ”You’re lucky I love dogs,” Dean hissed through his goofy grin.
”And you’re lucky she does.”
Read on AO3 || Masterlist———————————————————Thank you so much for reading! I dunno about anyone else, but even if someone with a face like Dean/Jensen used that on me, I don’t think I’d be all that friendly.

warnings: sub-ish!dean, breeding kink (whoops!)
sorry, i'm a sucker for sub dean, dont blame me
He was mesmerized, looking at where your bodies connected, as your slick made his dick shine under the poor lightning of the motel. He refused to tear his eyes away from it.
You were gripping him so tight and so good, the way you clenched around him making him practically whimper in your ear. You were eager to take more out of him, his noises bringing even more arousal to your hazy mind.
He held your hips strongly, his fingers squeezing everytime you grinded your hips back on his. His head was burried in your neck leaving wet kisses and dark hickeys where he could. Dean was desperate for you.
"You feel s'good" He panted and you groaned. He sounded high, drunk on your scent and the smell of sex that filled the room. "So warm and so, fuck- and so tight, God, please"
He sobbed, your hands roaming his back, one of them going up to his hair. You tug on it, making Dean let out a high pitched groan. Your mouth comes closer to his ear.
"Tell me what you want baby" Your voice deep with desire. A shiver runs down his spine and his hips falter slightly at your slight dominance. "You wanna fill me up, hm? Go around telling everyone that you were the one who fucked a baby in me?"
Dean moaned at that, one of his hands unconsciously went to rest over your belly, gently pressing over it. You had to supress a moan as the weight of his hand made his cock seem to be deeper.
"G- Please, please, I'll do anything" He lifted his head to leave a sloppy kiss over your lips, his forehead glued to yours "I'll fill you up so g-uh good, please baby"
You kissed the side of his mouth, not giving him the satisfaction of an actual kiss. "Do it Dean, just be a good boy and make me cum first" You ordered as your hand caressed his cheek and he viciously nodded, his thumb almost immediately going to circle your clit.
"Y-yes...I will, thank you, thank you" He thanked you and started fucking into you harder, stimulating your clit to make you orgasm so he could get his reward afterwards because, after all, he would always be your good boy.
So, yeah, another drabble. I have a couple requests pending and I apologize for that, life's been kicking my ass lately and I've got no motivation to write whatsoever, enjoy the drabbles while I come back to normal LMAO

cute glasses ◦◦ d. winchester
summary: your eyes are dry because of your contacts, so you have no choice but to put your glasses on
pairings: established dean winchester x reader, dean winchester x gn! reader
word count: 1.3K
warnings: none really, no use of 'y/n', major fluff, some insecure thoughts, but mainly fluff
a/n: first official fic for dean!! also this was intentionally written as a blurb but as always, it seems i have more write than intended lol
please reblog and comment, i love to see your thoughts!
𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵
You had to fight the temptation to rub your eyes as you stared hard at your laptop, the screen emitting a blue light that was beginning to give you a headache alongside the dryness of your contacts as you sat at the table in the motel room. You blinked hard multiple times, trying to bring moisture to your contacts and find some relief from the dryness, but nothing was working.
You were still dressed in the FBI garb you had put on in the morning when you and Dean were going to the station to gather information on the hunt the two of you were working. Sam would have joined the two of you, but he had come down with a cold, and Dean forced him to stay back at the bunker while the two of you would work the hunt.
You glanced at the alarm clock on the nightstand, seeing that 10 minutes had passed since Dean went out to get dinner for you two. You threw your head back with a groan, feeling the soreness in your shoulders as you sat down and hunched over your laptop, researching for hours on end.
You stood up from the seat and stretched out your limbs like a cat waking up from a nap and stalking over to your bag to grab your pajamas and glasses, and headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower and get comfortable.
You jumped into the shower and rinsed off the day. After showering, you took out the dry contacts that were irritating your eyes, put them back into their case, and let out a sigh of relief when you blinked, and moisture was restored to your eyes.
You put on your glasses and strolled back into the room to find Dean sitting at the table and pulling the food out of the takeout bag.
"Took you long enough, sweetheart. I got us Chinese since there was a place I saw when driving in an-" He stopped talking as you crossed the room to see what he ordered.
"And what?" You asked him, looking at him with furrowed brows as you took in Dean's stunned expression, his mouth agape as his eyes flickered around and all over your face.
"You have glasses." Dean pointed out, blinking slowly as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
You raised an eyebrow at him. "Uh, yeah I do."
"Since when?"
"Since I was a freshman in high school." You told him as casually as you could, not wanting to make a big deal out of you wearing glasses.
"How come I've never seen you with them on?" Dean asked you with knitted brows.
"Err…" You trailed off. You didn't really want the boys to know you had glasses since you could be considered a liability if anything were to happen to your contacts or glasses. But hey, you've managed this long hunting with them, and you haven't died yet because of them. You just didn't want the boys to look down on you because you had them, and they could potentially hinder you in hunts.
"I wear contacts, and I try to keep them in for as long as I can until I can get back to my room and put my glasses on." You finally explained with a sheepish smile as you rubbed the back of your neck.
Dean's face turned into one of realization. "Is that why I sometimes feel you slip out of bed and then come back a couple of minutes later?"
You felt your face flush with heat as you nodded in response. Dean chuckled lightly at your embarrassment and leaned in to kiss your forehead. Then, a chaste peck on your lips before turning back to the food.
"You're not gonna ask me why I kept this from you?" You asked, confusion coloring your words as you saw him sit down in front of your closed laptop and dig into one of the takeout boxes with a plastic fork.
"Do you want me to?" Dean questioned through a mouthful of chow mein.
"Uh, not really. I was just ready for you to go all Spanish inquisition on me." You sat down across from him and looked through the takeout boxes before opening one of them to find the orange chicken.
Dean swallowed the food he was chewing. "Look, you had your reasons, and yeah, I have many questions about them but right now I just want to stare at you with them on."
You raised an eyebrow at him again. "You like them?"
"Yeah," He shrugged. "You look beautiful with or without them on." Dean reached across the table and traded chow mein for the orange chicken box in your hands.
You smiled at him, feeling your cheeks flush with heat again before huffing an amused breath through your nose. You narrowed your eyes at him as you leaned forward, taking Dean, who was still in his FBI suit, minus the jacket, tie, and a few of the buttons on his shirt unbuttoned.
"The glasses are doing something for you aren't they?" You teased him as you took a bite of the chow mein.
"Yeah, you have this sexy librarian thing going on. Could only imagine how much hotter you would have been if you left your FBI suit on." Dean's mouth pulled into a coy smirk, his green eyes alight with mischief and desire.
You chuckled as you shook your head. "Of course, you'd be into that."
Dean shrugged again as he popped a piece of orange chicken in his mouth.
Later, when the two of you finished eating and did a little more research and while you were doing your skincare, a sliver of worry still sat with you as you thought about how this would affect Dean and hunting. When you climbed into bed with Dean and placed your glasses on the nightstand, your world got a little blurry, but you could still see Dean's slight smile on his face as he pulled you into his side, wrapping an arm around your waist.
Dean pressed a warm kiss on your forehead. "What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" He asked lowly, his voice laced with care and fatigue.
"S'nothing." You shook your head.
"Come on, don't like seeing you like this before we go to bed." Dean squeezed your waist.
You sighed before propping your chin on his chest. "Just concerned that you might worry about me because of my bad eyesight."
Dean looked at you before leaning forward to press another kiss to your forehead and brought his hand to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing against the soft skin. You leaned into his warm touch, pressing a kiss into his palm.
"I'm always going to worry about you," He started, pausing before finding his following words.
"But you've been hunting with your contacts and glasses for a long time before you met me, and you've been able to keep up with me and Sam without us knowing. I don't care that you have glasses or contacts because you're still a damn good hunter."
You smiled at his words before leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss against Dean's full lips. Dean kissed you just as softly as you pressed your lips against yours and chased your lips as you pulled away.
You rested your forehead against his. "Thank you." You whispered, your lips brushing against his as you did.
"No problem, sweetheart. Let's get to bed, we've got a bastard to hunt."
You chuckled softly at his words and pressed a quick kiss on his lips before settling beside him and melting into his side as you guys slowly fell asleep, finding that your dreams were filled with Dean's joyous laughter and playful kisses.

Could you write an older Dean and younger reader? Such as late thirties/early forties Dean and a mid twenties reader. Maybe the reader is inexperienced, and Dean coaches them through it?
help you.
dean winchester x fem!reader, 1.9k, nfsw 18+, grinding, p in v, riding, kinda dirty talk, older!dean, inexperienced!reader, kinda unedited — requests are open
Dean’s been to heaven, but it didn’t compare to the bliss of having her in his lap.
He’s had her beneath him — in bed, in the Impala, in a few motel rooms — had her against the shower wall, and more recently at the result of his own impatience, against the library shelves. But, for some reason, he hadn’t had her in his lap before.
It was bliss.
Her breath was hot as she panted into his open mouth, and she was so warm, bare thighs against his own, hot palms that pressed down atop his own bare chest. The only clothing between them was their underwear, and Dean had struggled with the decision of whether he wanted to keep seeing her pretty bra on her or take it off for far too long.
His fingers dug into her hips and grinded her against his lap, and it was the noise he managed to pull from her throat that made the decision up for him. He wanted to pull as many sounds from her as he could, and that meant needing to get the garment off.
One of his hands stayed curled around the dip of her hip bone, whilst his other flattened against her smooth skin and moved upwards until he reached her shoulder, and he hooked his thumb beneath her bra strap, tugged it back just enough to snap it back against her skin, and a low chuckle escaped him when she jumped and pulled back slightly.
“What was that for?” Her mumbled words were a little too whiny for his cock not to throb.
“Just teasing’ you, baby,” he kissed her pout briefly. “You look so pretty, all worked up for me.”
She was such a sight. The fact that she was in his lap alone would’ve been enough to get him worked up, but she was so fucking gorgeous. Her lips were red and kiss-bitten, cheeks all flushed pink. Her makeup was a little ruined in such a way that drove him fucking crazy; lipgloss smudged — the same lipgloss he could taste in his own mouth — glitter that was supposed to be on her eyelids made her cheeks sparkle, black smudges of mascara beneath her eyes. She looked a little wrecked, and he hadn’t really touched her yet.
He reached behind her to unclasp her bra with practiced expertise before he slid the straps down and pulled it from her, groaned deep in his throat when her breasts were on view.
As Dean kissed her again, a bit wet and a bit lazy as he sucked on her bottom lip, his hand slid up from her hip and he cupped one of her breasts, gently squeezed the warm soft flesh in his palm before he thumbed at her nipple until he felt it harden breath his touch, and the breathy noises that were pushed into his mouth from her throat were gorgeous.
Dean had fucked her enough times to know what would pull certain reactions for her. He wasn’t sure she’d had much experience before him, and… Dean knew how it looked. He was getting on a bit, in his mid-thirties, and he had almost ten years on her.
(He had threatened to hit Sam with his car the moment a joking “sugar daddy” had passed his brothers lips.)
Naturally, she wasn’t as experienced as him, he knew that without having to be told. But the first time they’d fucked, and she questioned why he was spending so much time focused on making her feel good, just told him all he needed to know.
She’d only ever hooked up with shitty guys who just wanted to get off.
Admittedly, Dean had been that guy in the past. But the sight of her cumming was otherworldly. He wanted to see it again, and again, and again.
Dean grinded her against him once more and she moaned, her hot cheek pressed against his when her head tipped forwards as she panted softly.
“God, you sound fucking perfect,” he grunted, and he was so painfully hard and her panties were so fucking soaked that he knew neither of them wanted to wait anymore. “Want you to keep making those pretty noises for me.”
His hands dipped down enough to slide his thumbs into the waistband of his boxers, and he shimmied them down just enough to pull his cock out, but just as he reached for her underwear, she leaned back and went to move.
“Hey,” he gripped her hips and tugged her back where she was. “Where’re you goin’?”
She blinked at him, took a heaving breath. “You want me here?”
Dean chuckled and gave her hips another squeeze. “Kinda missing the point of what we’re doing if you think I don't want you here, babe.”
“No, I-” she took a breath. “Here like this,” she gestured down towards his lap, and Dean just blinked at her until she huffed out and clarified, “I’ve never… done it like this before.”
Dean softened just slightly. He remembered the first time they’d had sex, how nervous she’d been about not being enough for him, about not being able to get him off. She’d ended up being the best sex of his fucking life, and there was nothing he wanted more in that moment then to have her in his lap, coming apart on his cock.
“Aw, doll,” he tipped forwards and kissed her softly, squeezed her hips until she properly settled her weight back down into his lap again. “That’s alright, doesn’t matter if you haven’t done it before.”
She huffed a breath against his lips, cheeks flushed pink, and she looked partly embarrassed and partly turned on. “M’not gonna do it right.” The words were mumbled into his mouth, soft and almost whiney.
“Yeah you are, sweetheart,” he kissed her once more before he leaned back to get a good look at her expression, her pretty face. “I’ll help you.”
She was breathing heavy, and still looked a little nervous, but nodded her head, palms flat against his chest. He’d never get over the sight of her when she got like this — flushed, blissed out, turned on. God, he could just drink her up, savour the way she looked right then, keep it bottled up for whenever he wanted it.
Dean reached down to the apex of her thighs, brushed his fingertips along the damp fabric, and he watched as she shuddered, her eyes shut.
“Fuck doll,” he groaned, rubbed her through the fabric just until she made a little noise and then he hooked his fingers underneath the wet fabric and pulled it to the side, too lazy to take them off of her completely. “You’re fuckin’ soaked. Sit up for me, c’mon,” Dean squeezed her hips until she lifted them, and he held her underwear to the side with one hand, his other pumped his cock a few times before he lined his head up with her wet hole, clenched his jaw.
“That’s it- that’s it-” Dean groaned as she sank herself down onto him, squeezed her hips hard enough to leave finger-shaped bruises until he was completely inside of her, and he felt so much deeper at that position.
She was all heavy breaths and sighs, her fingers clung to his shoulders as she sank herself down in his lap. Her head had tipped forwards and her forehead pressed to his cheek, hot skin to hot skin, her breaths fanned out against his throat. “Dean-”
“I know- fuck,” Dean grunted as he shifted her hips and felt her clench around him. “I know, baby, good girl.”
He gripped her hips and helped her move, and with every drag of his cock against her tight walls, it was blissful. She was panting into his open mouth, hands gripped him tightly, and he could tell that despite her earlier concerns, she felt good.
“How’s that, doll?” The words were mumbled into her ear as he sank her back down onto his cock, and her resulting moan was muffled against the skin of his throat, her fingers gripped onto him tighter.
“Good-” She gasped. “It’s- oh-”
Dean smirked into her hair, grunted as she sank back down on him again, felt the cling of her wet heat around his cock. “It’s what, baby?” He kissed the shell of her ear. “Use your words, c’mon.”
She whimpered at the next drag of his cock. “It’s… feels so good-”
“That’s good, sweetheart,” Dean sacrificed one of the hands on her hips to slide up her back and he tangled his fingers in her hair, gave it a playful tug until she tipped her head back to look at him, and fuck the look on her face. Flushed pink, eyes half-lidded, lips parted in little sighs and gasps that threatened to make him cum there and then. “You look so fuckin’ pretty, you know that?” He lifted his hips and thrusted up into her and she groaned as her nails dug into his shoulders. “So gorgeous-” he grunted. “Makin’ a mess all over me- fuck-”
It was her that initiated the kiss, then, her mouth moved messily and desperate against his until the kiss became wet and lazy and fucking heavenly. His fingers tightened only slightly in her hair, only to keep her angled properly for the kiss, and he kept moving her hips and thrusting up into her, felt as her slickened walls squeezed and clenched his cock as it throbbed with a desire he’d only ever felt for her.
Their mouths were still attached when she came without warning, and he felt more than heard the groan that escaped her and into his mouth, felt as she pulsed around him, and it was just enough to drag his orgasm out of him too.
Dean groaned, let go of her hair to grip her hips and pulled her tight down against him until he was buried to the fucking hilt, and he didn’t let go until he was completely fucking drained.
“Oh god, sweetheart,” he was panting when he finally eased his grip on her hips, and dropped a plethora of wet kisses to her hot cheek before he leaned back to look at her face. “Look at you.”
She was a fucking picture as she sat in his lap, still filled up completely, as she panted and blushed and gave him that fucking smile, the shy smile that wasn’t so fucking shy after what they’d done.
Her eyes dipped down and she took a shuddering breath inwards as she leaned forwards and softly kissed his neck. “Was that… did I do okay?”
“Did you do okay?” Dean chuckled and lifted his hand to cup her jaw, and when he tipped her head back up towards him he leaned forwards and kissed her in a much gentler way than he had before. “That was perfect. You’re a fuckin’ gem, y’know that?”
She just giggled, kissed him again, and wrapped her arms around his neck, their bodies hot against each other.
And then, her soft voice mumbled, far from completely satisfied, “…can I try again?”

three seconds — sam winchester
for : 200+ followers event [ closed ] ➖⟢ pairing : sam winchester x gn!reader ➖⟢ genre : fluff ➖⟢ cw : light swearing, accidental cuddling, casual mention of marriage between sam and reader (it's just dean teasing tho lol), idiots friends to lovers, kissing, barely edited ➖⟢ wc : 1.2K prompt : sleeping in the same bed, as they’d often do, but one morning waking up cuddling
MOVED BLOGS TO @sammyluvr !! no longer active on this blog! all fics can be found there!
to be truthful, this isn’t the first time you’ve woken up with yours and sam’s limbs entangled with each other’s. it’s just far less common for his hand to be so gloriously attached to your waist or his face to be tucked all sweet and warm into your neck. your own hands are placed in his hair and on his broad shoulder blade.
waking up like this is heaven; first, in the moments before you can process exactly what is happening, and second, once you realize and can bask in the splendor of having him so intimately close and vulnerable with you. then it comes crashing down as you remember that this isn’t quite how it’s supposed to be, and that you’ll never, not for a moment, be able to get this feeling out of your head, your body.
which means every moment after you untangle yourself from him will be full of a pure, undying, taunting want, maybe even need, to have him like that again. such a feeling is a general inconvenience as one considers that sam is your best friend, that he and his brother are just about all you have, and that you’d rather die than lose them to the fact that you’re in love with him. so clearly, it’s better he never knows, it’s just that constantly thinking about cuddling with him tends to lead to you making heart eyes at him or your cheeks flushing hot when he looks at you a moment too long.
then there’s the realization that sam is still asleep, the steady rhythm of his breath tickling your neck is both comforting and terrifying all at once. what if he wakes and jerks away, uncomfortable with your proximity? should you push him away before he even realizes the position you’re in? it’s not as if sam doesn’t enjoy physical affection; he pretends he doesn’t, but you’re convinced that he’s a cuddlebug at heart. maybe that’s an overly cute way of putting it, but you can feel how much he loves hugs, how much he enjoys having his head in your lap when you get a rare movie night. you’re just worried that this is too much, too close for even him.
and yet, you’re feeling selfish, because what if you never get him like this again? so you close your eyes again and just revel in the way it feels to have the tip of his nose pressed to your neck and his forehead against your jaw. his hands on you, so steady and sure in his sleep. his hair, soft between your fingers and the muscle of his back under your palm. his leg, tucked between yours. just the weight of him, pressed against you all solid and real and almost immovable until he wakes.
you hear dean stir a few feet away and you pray he won’t be able to tell you’re not asleep. breath even and eyes still gently closed, you hear dean move about, mumbling to himself. he’s digging around in a bag, pulling something out. then you feel him move closer and you swear he’s hovering at the foot of the bed.
then you hear a click, like that of a camera shutter, and you realize dean’s taken a picture of the two of you like this. pictures of the three of you are rarer, and dean being the one to take it means it’s special. you suppose blackmail is special in its own way and beg to no one that dean didn’t hear your breath hitch as you realize this moment is now immortalized by a picture that dean’ll print out someday and shove in your faces to make fun.
then dean’s mumbling to himself again, now close and loud enough for you to make out his words. “these two,” he sighs, tone practically chastising as if he sees something glaringly obvious, but the both of you can’t seem to quite get there. “i swear, the heart eyes from across the room, the longing gazes. god, they’ll be the death of me.”
he really, truly thinks you’re asleep. he talks like this when he doesn’t know you can hear him. though usually not about you and sam, not like this. “they’re both such idiots. idiots in love,” he laughs humorlessly to himself, then turns away, stuffing the camera back in the bag he dug it out from. “maybe i should lock them in a closet,” he considers, voice so low you can barely catch his words, “see who caves first. then they’ll probably only thank me for that or the puke-inducingly cute photo once they’re married, those ungrateful asses. kids these days.” he lets out a huff of breath as he heads to the bathroom, seemingly done with his ranting about … about what? you and sam being in love with each other? what the hell was he saying, married? you and sam? you have to hold back from letting out a lovesick sigh.
you’re so caught up turning dean’s words over in your mind that only sam’s hand lightly squeezing your side brings you back to the present. your eyes shoot open and you pull your hand out of his hair. sam parts from you, barely. how long has he been awake? you’re almost too scared to look at sam, who hasn’t even attempted to untangle himself from you. he’s still got his hand on your waist and his leg tucked between yours and your eyes catch his without you meaning to. it’s always like that; your eyes will wander until they find his face, every time. it’s habit, instinct, unavoidable.
he looks at you long, and something about his pretty eyes turned green from the morning light and the color of the sheets keeps you holding his gaze, taking him in as he does you.
when sam finally speaks, his voice is hushed, but there’s this barely contained joy to it, begging to be released. “think we should save him the trouble?” the playfulness in his voice tugs at the corner of your lips. when he sounds happy, you can’t help but feel that way.
“of?” you ask, thinking you know what he means, but wanting to be sure.
“of locking us in a closet. sounds like a bit of a hassle, if you ask me,” he smiles at you, and his words plus the sight of his dimples has got you grinning without restraint. you wonder again how long sam was awake, but completely without apprehension this time. all the two of you needed was a few playful words exchanged, and now you know. though you wouldn’t have without dean’s unwittingly overheard grumbles, so you supposed you will have to thank him after all.
“i don’t know,” you say with a false air of careful thinking, “seems like it could be fun, y’know? it’s been too long since we’ve played a good trick on dean, don’t you think?”
sam doesn’t have an answer for that because he’s been too busy staring at the way your lips move, still pulled into a smile as you talk. you take another good look at him and wonder, how in the world did i miss it? the way he looks at me?
if he doesn’t kiss you within three seconds flat, you’ll do it yourself. it takes him those three seconds exactly, and you move in such synch it’s possible that your lips meet right in the perfect middle of the barely-there space between you.

A Shirtless Winchester
Pairing: Dean x reader
________
“Uh.” You stopped halfway into your bedroom, towel tucked under your arm around your bare body, messy damp hair down your back. You blinked, meeting a cheeky smile in return.
Dean Winchester was on your bed, laying back, reading the romance book from your nightstand.
A very shirtless Dean Winchester.
“W-What are you doing in here? On my bed?”
“Waiting for you. For a book with such a cute cover they sure do some depraved things in this,” he hummed. You looked around and back into the hall, shaking your head. “You want to make out?”
“What?!”
“Do you want to make out?”
You stared at him, Dean putting the book down and walking over to you, tucking a finger under your chin so you looked into his eyes.
“Well?”
You inhaled and dropped your towel, Dean not breaking eye contact.
“Did that answer your question?” you said.
“It did. Posed another one though.”
“I bet it did,” you said, pushing on his chest, walking him back until he lay back on the bed. “I’m gonna close that door and by the time I turn around, those pants better be gone.”
“Or what?” he smirked as you already turned back towards the doorframe.
“You’ll see, Winchester. You’ll see.”

୨ৎ your camera roll in the year you spent with the winchesters
The Winchesters both took an instant liking to you, honestly. You were so helpful whenever they needed information on people or help with lore, you’ve never rejected them even if they called at five in the morning. Sam and Dean invite you to a game that they used to see with their dad. You spend hours thinking of what to wear until you decide on a simple outfit only to be pleasantly surprised that they’re both matching with the jerseys— and they brought you one. You hang out more frequently after that, you stay at motels with them if you’re close by, help patch them up with your own soft hands instead of their rough ones. You take a liking to Dean in a different way. You can’t help but hope he does too. You take pictures of him randomly, while you’re patching him up or when you’re both speaking and you decide you want to remember this moment again one day. He sees your phone come out and instantly poses, and you’re not sure you’ve ever smiled as much as you do with him.
Dean gets more comfortable with you, allows you to take even more pictures of him and you don’t pass up the opportunity to take out your phone at any given moment; like when he and Sam are talking about something as random as beer and you shout “pose”. Sam shakes his head and takes a step back but Dean doesn’t pass up the opportunity to look over at you with a wide smile. He’s gorgeous, obviously, but his smile is blinding and you’re not sure how he’s so charming. You think he’s too out of your league, no way he could ever like you— until he starts rejecting people left and right. He even jokes with you about the bartender who wrote her number on the napkin after you both payed your bill. Despite your insecurities, Dean isn’t the source of them. He’s always calling you ‘beautiful’, compliments your outfits and intelligence, tells you he can’t believe you hang out with them despite being so well versed in things they can only dream of knowing. You both attend a gala for a case and you don’t think anyone’s ever stared at you quite like he did when you show him your brand new elegant outfit. While you’re both there, despite being in the middle of an important mission, Dean lets you take out your phone, whisper “pose” and he does gladly. He doesn’t smile like he always does, but it’s still one of your favourite pictures. He’s easy with you, always been. And the no tie was definitely the way to go— you keep that one in a hidden folder for your eyes only.
Random day, random hunt, and you decide to try a new style with your messy hair. No one really notices, it’s not like you chopped it off or anything, it’s just a new hairstyle. Except that dean notices. And mid hunt, while you’re all splitting up and you go with Sam, he slides a note into the back pocket of your jeans. You smile as you feel his hands slide into your pocket then he winks as he gets into the Impala to drive off. when you look at the note you’re pretty sure you’re just a stuttering mess. Sam, thankfully, doesn’t comment on it. But you decide to take it as your sign that something needs to happen with Dean, you’ve been waiting too long. You go back to the motel and very shakily ask him on a sort of date. He makes it into a full blown one and you’re not sure you could really be separated since then. Wherever the Winchesters are, that’s where you’ll always be. Sam decides your phone is as good as his and snaps pictures of the both of you, if not to one days show his brother proof that he was loved. He takes pictures when Dean’s carrying your drunk and limp body home, you mumbling about loving him the entire way. Or while you’re all at a bar and you decide too many people are eyeing him so you take matters into your own hands, move closer and leave no space between the two of you. Dean doesn’t mind.

✶ in the morning — sam winchester
cw : gn!reader, fluff, mentioned alcohol use (sam's drunk), unedited, 959 words. requested ! for my 900 followers event [ closed ] .
prompt : a motel bathroom + “shhh!” “i’m trying to confess my love to you!”
sam’s tall, lanky body won’t cooperate with your gentle hands. you have to squeeze his elbows hard to keep him upright; he’s very drunk. his breath is sharp and unpleasant from all the alcohol, but his lips look soft. they feel soft when his face falls into the crook of your neck and all he does is nuzzle closer. when he mumbles something unintelligible, it feels like a kiss of sorts on your burning skin.
he’s only warmer than you are because he’s drunk. sam runs warm usually anyway, but his incessant closeness has your blood rushing under your skin and making it hot.
his breath smells like something stronger than beer, which is unusual for him. maybe he felt adventurous tonight, or maybe something’s on his mind that he foolishly decided to address with whiskey.
this motel’s bathroom is tiny, even smaller than most, which is saying something. but sam has somehow gotten his hands sticky with god knows what and it’s really bothering him. it’s bothering you too, frankly, but you’ve said nothing but, “it’s okay. it’s okay, sam,” in a saccharine sweet voice when he apologizes for getting whatever it is on your clothes. as if they aren’t stained with blood half the time.
so now you’ve got him hunched over the bathroom sink, forced right up against his side in order to keep from stumbling into the shower. at least your presence keeps him steadier than he might be on his own.
“oh, my god,” he mumbles as you push his hands back under the water when he forgets to use soap. “i need you,” he says through a huff of breath and you nearly do fall into the shower. you hand him the little bar of soap because he’s just saying that he wouldn’t be able to get this done without you in his drunken state. his big hands fumble with it and he forgets to focus on that because he’s trying to look at you instead. the bar slips comically out of his hands and nearly onto the floor. it falls into the basin of the sink, though, and he can’t seem to grasp it with his clumsy fingers.
you pick it back up for him and he leans into you. the both of you would have tumbled over if you didn’t plant a firm hand on the small of his back and push him back to lean on the sink instead.
“you look very pretty,” he tells you, words quite slurred but unmistakable. you’re not sure you can do this right now.
“finish washing your hands,” you manage to say. it’s not easy to say anything at all, not with your hand still on his back and his shoulder pressed right into you. he does as you ask, but not before looking at you with all the fondness in the world.
“okay,” he mumbles. and when he’s done, he clumsily turns to face you, putting you chest to chest with him. your breath hitches and his hands land on your hips. he holds you loosely but happily, a sweet and loopy smile on his lips.
“oh– gosh, sam–,” you choke out in surprise. you can’t help the grin that breaks across your features. “d-dry your hands!” you chide him, giving a strangled laugh at his forgetfulness. the water on his hands soaks through the fabric of your pants and shirt where they hold you.
“shit, sorry,” he slurs, pulling his hands away, and you laugh again. you reach for the towel yourself before thinking about it and end up with your front slotted right against his. you jerk back with the hand towel and grab one of his hands, drying it for him, then the other.
he watches with uncontained endearment and adoration and you swear that you can physically feel it. “won’t you look at me?”
your eyes flick up from his hands before you can stop yourself. he pouts, but seems to be holding back a smile.
“i gotta tell you something,” he murmurs, holding your hands through the towel with purpose now.
you panic a bit. you don’t want him to tell you while he’s shit-faced, you want him to remember it and mean it. as much as you want him to say what you think he’s going to, you’re not sure you can truly trust a drunken confession. so you do the first thing you can think of to get him to stop and quickly hush him. “shhh! n-no! not… not right now. you should sober up, go to bed,” you rush to say.
his face falls and he takes it the wrong way. “i… i’m trying to confess my love to you,” he whispers, looking dejected.
“oh, sam,” you sigh, softening immediately despite the way your heart leaps from your chest, “i– i know, that’s not what i– i just wanted you to be sober, i didn’t mean to–” you reach for the right words blindly, unsure how to comfort his drunken self while also steering this conversation the right way. he’ll be upset if he doesn’t remember this in the morning.
you let the towel slip away to the floor and hold his hands without anything in the way. air fills your lungs as you miraculously compose yourself. you let it out. “i know,” you murmur, “and that would make me very happy, but you’re very drunk right now. would you be willing to tell me in the morning? is that alright with you? because that would make me even happier.”
he slumps forward and suddenly his lips are planted on your cheek in a clumsy, sincere kiss. your composure shatters. “alright,” he whispers, his lips falling to your ear. “i’ll tell you in the morning.”

Being in a relationship with a hunter wasn't easy. Many lonely nights were spent at the bunker, and you were convinced that you'd ace nursing school at this point with the amount of wounds you've patched up.
But the worst thing was seeing the emotional toll that hunting took on Dean. He wasn't much of a "let's talk about our feelings" guy, so getting him to open up about what happened on hunts was a difficult task. Usually he just opted to drink and forget about it.
But there were rare occasions when what happened shook him so badly he had to tell you about it. And quite a few of this had happened recently.
Tonight wasn't one of those nights, and you could tell immediately.
You were asleep in bed when you awoke to hear the heavy doors open and footsteps come down the metal stars leading to the main study. There was something off about the footsteps - they sounded exhausted and weary. Not to mention Sam and Dean weren't supposed to be home for a couple more days. But you recognized the step pattern and knew it was them.
The door to the room you shared with Dean was left open, as there was no need for you to close it when you're alone. You rolled onto your back to be able to look at the door, a small comfortable smirk forming on your face when you saw Dean's face. Sam walked past and waved at you as he headed to his room.
Dean stepped inside and closed the door, kicking his shoes off before leaning back against the door and closing his eyes. You could tell something was different about this hunt. Maybe it was kid related, he always had a hard time with those. Or maybe Sam was threatened. Either way, you knew you weren't getting the information out of him tonight.
When he finally opened his eyes, you lifted your arms to silently ask him to come to you. He didn't even change out of his torn flannel and jeans before he crawled into your arms like a child. He wrapped his arms around you and held you tightly, as if he was afraid of losing you.
His head was tucked under your chin, his face buried in your chest.
"Dean, honey, are you okay?"
"I will be."
This was always the answer he gave you. This just meant "I will be after I drink enough to forget it".
He pressed a gentle kiss to your neck, his stubble rubbing against your skin. His fingers lightly caressed your back as he did so, and you knew what he was asking for.
"Dean," you whispered. "You need sleep."
"Please," was all he could muster. "I just... need something."
You weren't trying to get him to sleep for your sake, you just knew that this wasn't what he needed right now.
"Why don't we wait until the morning?"
"Please," he repeated.
You sighed and said, "Okay."
Sex was his favorite form of stress relief. That was the main reason you guys had sex was because he was constantly stressed and it helped temporarily. And the days he couldn't even get words out to ask, you knew the stress was bad.
It didn't take long for your bottom half to be bare, your underwear being the only thing you were wearing. He stripped completely as he needed to change anyway, his nearly destroyed clothes in a pile on the floor.
The second he slid into you, you could feel stress lift from his shoulder with a satisfied sigh. He kissed you deeply but gently as he thrusted, swallowing your moans.
His slow and easy thrusts soon picked up. He wrapped his arms around the backs of your shoulders, holding your body still against his. Your neck was covered in wet kisses, some which would leave hickeys.
Before you knew it, he was slamming into you. Normally he didn't do this unless he was upset about something, so you knew some shit went down during this hunt. You didn't mind it though, sometimes even preferring it to the slow and gentle sex he liked.
You pulled your legs closer to your chest, allowing him deeper access into you. This didn't last much longer though, as him thrusting roughly into you caused him to finish much faster than he wanted to.
"Shit," he breathed. "I'm sorry."
"Why?"
"That was super short."
"It's okay," you said with a tired smile, reaching up and running your fingers through his hair. At the same time, his hand slipped between you two, almost as if it was a magnet drawn to your clit. You let out a quiet gasp and accidentally pulled his hair a bit. "You don't have to."
"I know." He continued, his fingers feeling much better than the vibrator you'd been using in his absence. "I wanna feel you finish while I'm still inside of you."
This dirty talk only turned you on more, your smile growing.
This man was a master with his fingers. He knew exactly how to use them on you, like a maestro of fifty years. He knew what to do with them at exactly the right time, and he loved to watch your face as he did.
You normally liked to keep eye contact during sex, but you couldn't when he did this. Instead, you screwed your eyes shut and threw your head back, wiggling your hips up just right to feel good.
"Shit, Dean, I'm already close." This made him moan happily. You reached down and gripped his wrist as you inched closer and closer to that high.
"Look at me," he whispered, tilting your head down with his other hand. "Open your eyes."
Going against your instinct, you followed his commands. You looked into his eyes, and the second you did, that wave of pleasure overwhelmed you, a long and satisfied moan filling the room. He kept going until you physically pulled his hand away, unable to take any more.
When you caught your breath, you asked, "Feel better?"
He nodded. "More than you could ever know."

What's Mine
Dean Winchester x Reader
You and Dean have been tiptoeing around each other for weeks until you run into your ex on a hunt and Dean makes it a point to let it be known he isn't giving up what's his..you
The breath was knocked out of you when your back hit the dirt, Dean's body on top of yours was a familiar weight and he'd somehow supported your head to keep your neck from slamming at a weird angle when the two of you landed.
“You ok?” He asked breathlessly and you managed a smile “Had worse” you felt the heat of the flame from the open grave hit your side and knew Sam had torched the bones. Good thing too that damn ghost had tossed you and Dean both like a frigging ragdoll.
“You two good?” Sam called out and Dean who was still currently on top of you smirked “Been in a lot worse positions” you rolled your eyes and shoved him in the chest “Shut up and get off me Winchester” he got to his feet and helped you to yours before grabbing his chest playfully “Oh come on sweetheart. You're killing me here. You know you want me”
You felt your face warm at his teasing. Did you want him? Hell yes, who wouldn't? Did you have no clue where he stood due to months of flirting, light touches and getting so comfortable with each other you regularly ended up in each other's beds if one of you had a bad night.
“Oh yes. Let me ravage you in the middle of this graveyard covered in dirt and ectoplasm” you shot back and he grinned “Oh I'd take ya anyway I could have ya” you rolled your eyes and walked over to the grave where Sam was already filling in the hole and picked up a shovel. Dean joined the two of you and in no time the grave was back covered.
You looked from Sam to Dean “I need a shower” you announced only to be met with Sam saying he needed food and Dean saying he needed a drink. You laughed “There's a bar not far from our hotel. Sign boasted the best wings as voted by some traveling foodie. Let's hit the showers then we can grab some food and a few drinks before we hit the hay”
Dean grinned “That's my girl” and Sam shook his head “You two need to get a room” Sam was sick of the little dance you and Dean were stuck in as much as you were but you refused to make the first move. You knew how Dean was when it came to commitment.
You'd known both brothers for years and had started hunting with them full time after Bobby died then moved into the bunker full time after your last breakup.Sam was your best friend. You loved them both and refused to let your feelings for Dean come between that. He'd eventually make his feelings known, wouldn't he?
You walked in the bar between Sam and Dean, feeling Dean's hand at your lower back. It was a habit he'd long since started doing. Whether it was when the three of you were on a hunt, you went to the grocery store with him or something as simple as walking in a bar. When you'd asked him about it hoping he'd use the opportunity to admit anything he'd instead told you that he just liked to keep a hand on you. Something about in public places it keeping any pervs from thinking about looking your way.
You tried to ignore the instinct to lean into his touch. Was it possible he didn't want you like you wanted him? Maybe he really did just see you as a good friend and you were reading too much into things.
—--------------
Dean felt your back tense under his hand as Sam cleared the way to a booth on the back wall. “You good sweetheart?” He asked, leaning down so you could hear him over the music. You nodded but didn't give a verbal response. He was sure he'd blocked your head from taking a blow but maybe your back or ribs had taken a hit you hadn't admitted to?
He'd make a point to ask you before all of you settled down for the night back at the hotel.
He watched as you sat down on one of the benches then looked between him and Sam “Who's going to the bar?” He raised his hand slightly “you want your usual?” You nodded “Yes please” when you gave him a small smile he felt one slip onto his face in return but didn't miss Sam rolling his eyes. His little brother had been on his ass for weeks. The last threat had been “If you don't make a move I'm gonna start hitting on her for you. It's pathetic man”
—-------------
After Sam had eaten an extraordinary amount of wings for his usual appetite and you and Dean had split an order of mozzarella sticks you had gotten up to go to the bathroom. Normally one or both of them would walk you and wait outside the door but this once you'd convinced them to let you go alone.
When you got back out of the bathroom you saw that both of them had gone to the bar so you headed that way. You were almost to them when you heard a voice call your name you froze dead in your tracks, you'd recognize that voice anywhere. Your ex boyfriend Dominic.
The same ex boyfriend who'd broken up with you because “Ain't no way you're not sleeping with one of the Winchesters. They've never made a habit of working with any other hunter with the exception of Bobby yet you're always welcome to join them”
You turned to see him walking towards you. He was a fairly good looking guy. He was about six foot, dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. You'd been hurt when he accused you but now there was a whole different level to that hurt considering it seemed the Winchester that you did now have feelings for would never want you.
“Hey Dom” you greeted with a smile. “How ya been?” He asked and you shrugged “You know the life, still breathing so I'd call it a win”
—------------
Sam knew you should be out of the bathroom by now. He had hoped Dean would use the night out to admit his feelings. He turned to look around for you and spotted you talking to someone, no not someone your ex. That was Dominic. This should be interesting.
He glanced at Dean, trying to consider if he wanted to do this or not but then he saw your shoulders tense and knew you well enough to know when you needed a rescue. “Isn't that Dom?” He asked if off handedly but Dean spun around fast enough a few people looked their way. “Yeah it is”
The muscle in Dean's jaw was clenched hard watching you talk to your ex and Sam knew it was now or never. “She doesn't look too comfortable. Maybe one of us should go over there?” He stood like he was going to but Dean grabbed his shoulder “Let me”
—-----------------
What had started off as friendly enough turned not so friendly the moment Dom noticed Sam and Dean at the bar “Which one is it?” “Which one is what?” You asked because you honestly had no idea what he meant. “Which Winchester are you fucking?”
Before you could open your mouth to respond you felt a strong set of arms slip around your waist and heard Dean's voice say “That would be me. Why? You got a problem with it?” You cut your eyes up at him so he used that moment to bring one hand up to cup your chin and when his lips met yours the entire bar could've caught fire for all you cared.
You'd thought of kissing Dean so many times, dreamt of it but good lord the real thing couldn't be described. He rolled his tongue against yours, exploring your mouth and letting you taste the bourbon he'd drank. His hand moved to the back of your head, holding you in place as he deepened the kiss. You felt heat roll through your stomach as he pulled away from you leaving another light kiss on your lips before turning his eyes back to Dom.
“What was the issue of who she's with? Didn't you break up with her?” You could hear the venom in Dean's voice and felt his arms tighten around you protectively. This was new.
Dom shrugged “Yeah I broke up with her because I figured either you or your brother was fucking her” his eyes slid down to you then back up to Dean before he added “Or both of ya”
You felt Dean tense and knew you needed to diffuse the situation. Dom was strong, yeah but Dean was on an entire different level. He could easily kill him and not break a sweat. You gripped Dean's arms to stop him from moving “Baby, let's get Sammy and leave” you hoped you using a pet name for him that you normally wouldn't might get through his head.
He nodded “Yeah. Let's get back to the hotel” he slipped his arms from around you and grabbed your hand instead, lacing his fingers with yours. You took a few steps away and thought that was it, that Dom would use what brain cells he had and let it go. Instead he said “Does she still make that little sound right before she…”
He didn't get a chance to finish the sentence. Dean had dropped your hand and landed a solid punch before you could blink. Fuck. “SAM!” You shouted over the quickly growing crowd.
You didn't want to get close enough to get caught in the crosshair. Dean would be careful of you but add in enough drunks and adrenaline and accidents happen. “I got him” You heard Sam's voice before you saw him grab Dean's shoulder, ducking the thrown punch “C'mon he ain't worth it”
Dean looked up and met your gaze. You saw him take a deep breath then nod. “Yeah let's go” he reached for your hand and you gave it to him. Sam handed the nearest waitress a few twenties but by that time some drunks had helped Dom to his feet. He was holding his broken nose “So i was right. She's been fucking you”
You squeezed Dean's hand, silently begging him to not be baited. He pulled you into his side then turned to face Dom. “If I would've had her in my bed back then she would've kicked you to the curb long before you split and for the record she doesn't make any small noise with me” you felt your face warm when a chorus of “Ooohhs” went through the bar.
You spotted the bouncer headed in your direction and Dean must have too because he waved towards the door “I'm leaving. I'm leaving. This asshole needed to learn some manners”
The short ride to the motel had been in silence. You followed Sam into the room and headed for the door adjoining your room to theirs.
—-------------
You felt Dean grab your hand before you made it to the door “Can we talk?” You cut your eyes at Sam then nodded “Yeah. Come on” you walked into your room and waited until you heard Dean close the door to turn and face him.
“I'm sorry you were put in that position to have to defend me” You blurted out and he looked stunned for a minute then shook his head “I'm not. That guy's a fucking asshole. He never deserved you” you smiled slightly “Helluva punch and helluva kiss”
He smirked “I meant it” “The punch?” You asked and he rolled his eyes “The kiss you brat” you grinned “Oh really? What about the she doesn't make any small sound with me part?”
He pushed off the door, walking towards you with almost a predatory look. The same thing that made demons run the opposite direction had the ability to make your knees weak in the best way. “That sounds like you're doubting my abilities sweetheart?” You shrugged nonchalantly despite your heart pounding in your throat “Not like you've made a move to show me your abilities”
—--------------
He stopped just shy of touching you “Let me make myself clear if we do this that's it. You're mine, I'm yours. I don't want one night or just sex. I want all of you” “Good” you replied and that was all it took. He closed the space between you and if you thought the kiss in the bar was something it had nothing compared to the way his lips crashed against yours in a bruising, hungry kiss.
He backed you up to the bed and the moment the back of your legs hit it he eased you back on it, never breaking the kiss even as he hovered over you. Once the need for air forced you apart his lips moved across your jaw then down your neck “I've wanted you for so long” he spoke against your skin and you practically melted on the spot. “I'm yours Dean. I've been yours” you whispered and he groaned “Gonna be the death of me”
His hands gripped your shirt and before you could protest he ripped it right down the middle bearing your covered breasts to him. He bit down on one of them and when you moaned and arched your back he slipped his hands under you to relieve you of the bra as well, throwing it across the room. He looked down at you and the look in his eyes made your heart flip “You're so damn beautiful” he murmured before crashing his lips against yours again.
Your hands found his shirt so he broke the kiss long enough to slip it off and throw it, giving you access to his skin. Your hands smoothed over his chest, tracing the tattoo and small scars littered around it that even angelic healing didn't get rid of.
“I need more of you, please” he begged and you fucking whimpered hearing Dean Winchester sound that wrecked. “You have all of me Dean” you whispered and he left another searing kiss against your lips before moving down your body.
He slipped your boots off along with your jeans then panties leaving you bare to him before settling between your legs. He didn't give you time to adjust before his mouth found your core. The first lick was tentative, testing but when your hips bucked up into him he damn near growled before pinning your lower body down with one arm and diving in like a man starved.
—--------------
You were quivering under Dean. He'd already worked one orgasm out of you with his tongue alone and now had added two fingers into you as well. You were so close to that edge again and damn him he knew just what you needed. He turned his wrist to find that spot deep inside of you, running his fingertips over it as he sucked your clit into his mouth and you came again with a scream of his name on your lips.
Once you came down from that high you shoved weakly at his head “Please Dean, too much” he left one final kiss against your clit before leaning back to grin up at you “Worth the wait?” You nodded weakly “Please take your pants off and get up here”
He stood and slipped his boots, jeans and boxers off before crawling up your body, kissing and licking every inch of skin he could on the way up. When he crashed his lips against yours you could taste yourself on him and felt yourself clench especially when he moved to your neck to work your pulse point with his tongue and teeth.
“Dean, I will return the favor next time but please get inside me” He grinned against your skin “Yes ma'am” you felt the head of his cock teasing at your entrance and rolled your hips up towards him. He slid in slowly, a low moan leaving you both at the feeling of him stretching you.
Once you adjusted to his size you tapped his shoulder “You can move” he gave a thrust and when your hands went to his shoulders, nails digging in, he groaned “That's my girl” before setting a punishing pace.
—------------
You were folded damn near in half, your legs on Dean's shoulders as he pounded into you. You felt tears forming in the corner of your eyes from being pushed to that delicious line between pleasure and pain.
Your legs were shaking, your whole body felt like it was made of liquid. You'd never had this many orgasms fucked out of you and it seemed like he was aiming for one more before he let himself come. “Dean please. I can't take any more” you begged and he kissed your cheek “One more baby. Please. You've got one more for me”
His fingers slipped between you, rubbing tight circles on your clit and you felt that pressure burst again, your vision going soft from the pleasure coursing through you. His thrusts started getting uneven and you knew he was close. “Fuck Dean. You feel so damn amazing. Please come for me, fill me up” you sobbed, fucked senseless.
He groaned, burying his face in your neck as he gave one final hard thrust and you felt when he came deep inside of you.
—----------------
He slowly eased your legs down but stayed inside of you as you both worked to get your breathing back to normal. When he pulled out he apologized at the low whine you gave before going to grab a warm rag to clean you both up.
After he was sure you were cleaned up and didn't need anything else he climbed into bed next to you and pulled you over on his chest. “No regrets on wanting me?” He asked and you felt your heart jump at the uncertainty in his voice despite having just fucked you senseless. You leaned up to look up at him “Why? You already sick of me?” You teased and his eyes narrowed “Don't even woman”
You laughed lightly “I'm sure Dean. You're who I want” “Good, because I'd hate to have to kill anyone who tried to take you from me” you shook your head “Not happening Winchester. You're stuck with me” He pulled you back on his chest and left a kiss on your head before saying “I've been stuck in a lot worse positions than having you in my arms”
